Welcome to this beautiful 1870s historic home, perfectly located in the heart of the Fan District, one of Richmond’s most beloved and walkable neighborhoods. Renovated from top to bottom, this home has both unique architecture and a modern+vintage feel.
Soaring ceilings, tall windows, and original nods to the home’s past, plus the brand new renovations offer a great experience. Enjoy a fully updated kitchen, spa-inspired bathroom as well as gorgeous original exposed brick.
You will have the entire place to yourself including a bedroom with closet, queen bed and desk, as well as a living room with extra-long sofa, size Double air mattress, soaring ceilings with luxury ceiling fans, large-screen TV, full kitchen with many design upgrades, including all amenities like coffee pot, toaster, air fryer, dishwasher, and large chef-style cooking range (note: oven is non-working), an eating area as well as a lounge area. The unit also has a full-size washer and dryer, and a wonderful bathroom with a lot of spa-style upgrades, as well as plenty of storage.
The kitchen is always stocked with essentials but, at your request, coffee roasted just down the street, locally-gathered honey, beer brewed one neighborhood over or something from the local distillery can be waiting for you as well.
The home can sleep up to 5 guests, with one Queen bed, one Double size air mattress and an unusually long sofa.
There is also a wonderful front porch to hang out on the stairs solo or with some friends - and people watch. Pop across the street first to the beloved coffee shop, and enjoy on the porch as you watch the wonderful world of Richmond go by!
The home is also centrally located within walking distance to many amazing bars and restaurants, cafes, historic Altria Theater (Broadway, music, and comedy shows), VCU, Gold's Gym, a bakery, two local book shops, a cat cafe (make reservations early!), world class street art, historic architecture and a ton more. It's also minutes away from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, The Science Museum, The Children's Museum, The Valentine Museum, Byrd Theater (1920’s movie theater for indie films), Byrd Park, Maymont (huge rolling green spaces and mansion), Belle Isle (urban hiking), the Edgar Allen Poe Museum, Carytown (chic shopping), The Jefferson (afternoon tea service), Movieland Movie Theatre, the hugely popular breweries of Scott’s Addition neighborhood, art galleries ... and so much more.
