With three bedrooms, two baths, and room for six, Big Jim Mountain Lodge is the all-season family compound near Lake Wenatchee that keeps everyone happy. This lodge delivers a panorama of the Chiwaukum Range that guests never forget. Soak in the outdoor hot tub while sunset paints the peaks, challenge the family on the sports court, or gather around the pool table and fire pit after dark.



The Space:

Big Jim Mountain Lodge is a masterfully crafted log home designed for families and groups who want adventure, space, and comfort all in one place. Set just four miles from the village of Plain and twelve minutes from Lake Wenatchee State Park, the lodge offers easy access to year-round recreation while keeping you cradled in mountain scenery.



The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, a generous dining area, and a living room with a gas fireplace and an American Leather sleeper sofa. The primary bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom, plus there is a second full bath and laundry on this level. Upstairs, two more bedrooms - one with a queen bed and one with a queen-over-queen bunk - sleep the rest of the crew comfortably. In total, the lodge accommodates six guests across five beds.



Outside is where Big Jim really comes alive. The private hot tub faces Big Jim Mountain and the reddish, Colorado-like peaks of the Chiwaukum Range. A sports court handles basketball and volleyball, a pool table and children’s playroom keep younger guests entertained, and the fire pit and BBQ grill turn evenings into events. Three parking spaces mean the whole group can drive separately without stress. Air conditioning, a dedicated workspace with wifi, a flat-screen TV, and self check-in via smart lock round out the details.



Big Jim Mountain Lodge puts you at the gateway to Lake Wenatchee State Park, a 492-acre playground with swimming beaches, kayak rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails through highland forest. In winter the park transforms into a premier cross-country ski and snowshoe destination with groomed Nordic trails.



The village of Plain is four miles away for essentials, and Plain Valley Nordic Trails offer some of the finest groomed ski tracks in the state. Downtown Leavenworth and its Bavarian festivals are a scenic thirty-minute drive - close enough for a day trip, far enough that you return to mountain quiet. Stevens Pass skiing is the same distance in the other direction.



Please Note: The maximum number of guests Big Jim Mountain Lodge can host is 6 guests including children, per Chelan County STR Regulations, there are no exceptions to the listed maximum occupancy of 6.
