Hi there! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the charming, updated home and its walkable location. Our professional housekeeping team takes great pride in preparing every home, so they’ll be delighted to hear you found everything so clean. We’re also glad our communication was helpful and responsive throughout your stay. We’d love to welcome you back!
This is a fantastic property. You could feel the history of this home, but it has been updated wonderfully. We were very comfortable, and it was incredibly clean. The central location meant that we didn’t use our car at all - just the day that we left. So many things to see were within walking distance. I would book again and recommend to friends visiting Charleston.

Thank you so much! Sounds like you discovered the perfect Charleston formula: a historic home, modern touches, and no need to fight for parking because everything was right outside your door. We’re thrilled you enjoyed your stay and truly appreciate you sharing your experience with friends. We can’t wait to welcome you back!
This place is amazing. It was perfect for a family vacation. So convenient. House is awesome and gives you everything that you need to enjoy Charleston.
As advertised, near shopping, restaurants and sites. Great kitchen and dining area if eating in. Nice outside seating on patio and porch. Could use a couple more chairs in the living room area.
This was an amazing home and great location for shopping and eating out!! The home was very clean and provided all the essentials needed for our stay. I could not find fault with anything!! The home was warm, inviting, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and attentive to my questions. My only regret is that I could not stay longer to enjoy the home and the surroundings. I would highly recommend staying at this home while in Charleston!!!

Perfect house for girls weekend. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Living room to get together. Much better than if we would have stayed in a hotel. Location was the great.
The house was great. We had five women staying - and it had plenty of room for everyone. The location is optimal if you want to be within walking distance to everything! The property manager was super responsive when we had questions / issues. I’d definitely stay again!
Perfect location! Close to everything. House worked great for a girls trip with 8 girls. Beds comfortable! Wallpaper is falling off in living room and needs to be removed and replaced or painted. It really takes away from the beautiful living room. Sink on top floor had a leak that needs fixed. Overall, great though! Would definitely stay again!
Excellent property. Perfect location. Exactly as it shown in the listing. There are a couple maintenance issues, especially considering the price point. However, would definitely stay here again.
We had the BEST stay in this home. If you are big into history, like me, it will feel magical. If you like to eat, drink and shop, like me, it will feel magical because it’s all right there! The only time we drove anywhere was to walk the Ravenel Bridge. The house is perfect for a large group with its spaciousness, lots of outdoor entertainment seating and modern upgrades. Super clean and well-stocked too. Highly recommend!
We had the best stay here. Once we parked our car we didn’t get back into until the day we left. Everything is within walking distance. The house is super cute. We love how it was updated but still kept its old southern charm. The house was equipped with everything you could think of and more! Would highly recommend and we hope to be able to come back soon!
We were in Charleston for our son’s wedding. Lots of family and friends in the are. The Rabb House was perfect as a meeting up pint to then enjoy all that Charleston has to offer. I enjoyed its location as confident but also quiet at night. Parked two cars sometimes in driveway and that was an extra convenience in Charleston, though there is a parking garage. Note, it is three stories so your guests need to be able to do stairs. Wasn’t any issue for us. too
The place looks gorgeous. However, the weather was chilly and the house was freezing in the primary room and 90 degrees in the top floor area. We spent a lot of time trying to manage having a basic comfortable temperature in all the rooms. It was disappointing too that such a gorgeous place was missing nice amenities. The provided towels were obviously new and unwashed. The toilet paper and paper towels were the cheapest kind. It would make a huge difference if the rental company provided a few nice amenities for this pricey, pretty old home. I would not stay here again.

Great location and house was pretty, but the conditions in this house were way below expectations based on price and what we’ve seen at other VRBOs with similar prices (ie Cashiers and Sonoma). Property Management was responsive to heat problems, but still not worth the cost to stay.1. Very poorly equipped — no throw blankets, no napkins, only 2 trash bags, low-quality towels and only 2 per bed, cheap corkscrews that broke and got cork in expensive bottle of wine, stained sheets on one of the beds, sheets on another bed smelled bad (like old sweat)2. Not maintained to justify the price — broken vent simply covered by table, gas fireplaces didn’t work, powder room light didn’t work, dishwasher came out of the cabinet when you opened the door, cracks in upstairs door large enough to see light through3. HEAT — main floor went down to 51 degrees and never went above 61 after that. We had to wear hats and coats to eat dinner in the dining room. The top floor was suffocatingly hot, but windows were painted shut so couldn’t even open them to cool it off, which is also a safety hazard.
