Amazing location in the woods, not too far from either town. It was cozy and just what we we're looking for. However, I would have liked curtains on the windows for evening privacy.

Relaxing and quite
Great location in Oak Creek; short drive to Sedona and Flagstaff.
This neighborhood is a beautiful, quiet getaway. We loved the house, did some great hiking and had some great dinners. We enjoyed this peaceful neighborhood. Thank you for having us!
The property is nice. Needs some updating. The down stairs bed is not good if you have back problems. Wish there was a grill in the backyard. Other than these things, it is a good Vaca spot .

This is such a disappointing experience to read about, Dora. There are directions for turning on the hot water heater as you enter the property. The cleanliness issues are completely unacceptable and will be handled immediately. Thank you!

Some good some bad
House was ice cold when we got there. Pilot light was off and the furnace was old and tricky with a big dangerous flame. Also there are random notes around the house about things you need to do when you arrive. Some are tiny on the bulletin board that most people wouldn't see like turn the water heater on for the shower. It would be nice if it was more obvious and all In one place. Other than that it was clean, kitchen was updated and well stocked. The location was in a nice quiet setting about 25 mins outside of Sedona.

I can’t write the full review due to word count. Basically there is a huge rat infestation here and it’s known about. Notified property of rat feces and our food being eaten/pooped on, they apologized and never heard from them again. We could hear the rats running along the baseboards in the bedroom where we slept. Using the toilet you can hear them behind the walls. Holes in the living room floor patched in with what looks like wire scrubber for dishes. Found a knot in the wood paneling that is not a knot but a rat hole. Found out the devices plugged into the walls in most rooms are rodent repellents – but they don’t work.Place smelled like urine and feces and got worse; partner said they probably ozoned to cut the smell. Which means we probably unknowingly breathed that in. It came to a head on the early hours of the third day when we were sat on the couch and found a pair of eyes from a HUGE rat staring down at us from the loft. It ran and we investigated further. The pipe that goes into the bathroom runs into the loft and up. Rats accessing it. There was half inch rat poop and feces up in the loft. The pipe is by the bed so if you slept up there you are going to get rats on you and possibly bit. Something ran by us and I let out a bloodcurdling scream which made the cabin come alive. Noises from the loft, the stairwell by the bathroom, roof/ceiling, etc. You could hear them running in droves. We packed our stuff and left immediately for a hotel.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.
During your stay, we received one report indicating there may be mouse activity, specifically noting droppings found in drawers and suggesting extermination. This was the first indication of any such issue in the home, which had been inspected prior to your arrival with no signs of pest activity observed.
Upon receiving your message, we immediately scheduled a professional pest inspection and issued a refund of your cleaning fee as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience you encountered. We also followed up through the booking platform to communicate the steps being taken.
We would like to clarify that there are no holes in the floors or walls of the home. The property is a cabin located in a canyon environment where wildlife can be present, which is why proactive pest-control measures are especially important and have now been reinforced.
We did not receive any additional reports during your stay beyond the initial message, but we nonetheless took the concern seriously and acted promptly to prevent future occurrences.
We regret that your experience fell short of expectations and appreciate your feedback, as it allows us to address concerns quickly and improve for future guests.
