Enjoy a rare, entirely private slice of Lake Leelanau with 100 feet of private frontage—the main event here is the lake: swim, paddle, relax, repeat. This recently remodeled 1-bedroom cottage perfect for couples. The home sleeps up to 4 with a queen bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa in the living room. Step out onto the deck for meals on the grill, then head down to the water from the small private dock. *Furniture in Photos is similar but not the same. The garage will not be available to guests as we store our things in the garage.

We stayed at the cottage the last week of August 2026 and the weather was perfect. Paddle boards and a canoe were available, but we did not use them. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The laundry off the master bedroom was very convenient as well. The cottage has a great view of the beautiful lake! We loved using the fire pit to build bonfires at night. It is a relaxing setting and we enjoyed it very much! The host was easily accessible if needed and check in was very simple.

The cottage met all our expectations! Great location on the lake with a dock for easy access with a paddle board or kayak. It’s shallow off the dock which made it perfect for our dog’s daily swim. We loved the fire pit overlooking the lake for evening fires. Everything you need from wineries, shops, great restaurants, hiking, and biking is all within a 15 to 20 minute drive. Highly recommend Good Harbor Beach on Lake Michigan. Dog friendly and great views of pyramid point and whaleback. The inside was also great…very comfortable and clean. The large deck off the back was perfect for morning coffee or an evening drink. We look forward to returning next summer!

Our five night stay at this cottage was absolutely wonderful! Our host went above and beyond to help us with directions and restaurants, grocery stores and such. He was more helpful than any other host we have had. The cottage itself was lovely. Everything that we needed was there and brand new. Knowing that it was a one bedroom we thought that it might be quite small, but it actually seemed very roomy the way that it is laid out. We were not cramped at all. The closet in the bedroom is huge. We definitely took advantage of that. We were able to travel to Traverse City, Fishtown, Sutton Bay, and a few other small towns that were just delightful. I can’t say enough good things about this cottage and its location. We also visited a few of the wineries in the area and our favorites were Château Chantelle and Mari Vinyards. I can’t say enough good things about this cottage and its location. The water is crystal clear and it’s a sandy bottom so it’s very nice to swim in. I’m sure that I’m leaving some wonderful details out, but there was nothing negative about this cottage at all. We most definitely will come back to visit again. Thank you, Chris. It was a delight staying at your cottage.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful property! It was the perfect peaceful and quiet place to escape from the world while still within a short drive to explore great beaches, lots of cherry farms, & all the wonderful Leelanau towns. Just as gorgeous as it looks in the pictures and you really can’t beat the amazing private lakefront access. The house is so cute and truly has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hosts were great too! A total gem all around
