We recommend having a vehicle for a quick buzz into Two Harbors proper and for trips up the shore. There are taxi and app-order type transport services but being more rural, they will be more expensive than in larger cities. In nice weather, a bike is a reasonable option... be sure to bring a lock.

Coming from Duluth on Highway 61, the right turn onto Burlington Rd is on the far side of Two Harbors just after the golf course and the campground. After turning right on Burlington Rd, take the first right into the large parking lot. Look for the "B5" sign on the first building you come to. You will enter the building on the suspended walkway at the parking lot level.
Located right on the edge of Two Harbors. We recommend a car for getting around. However when parked, say in downtown Two Harbors, much of it is walkable. There is a blend of historic older buildings and homes, some lake front, retail, cafes, coffee shops, grocery store, gift shops, and dessert spots.

The place was very clean and larger than we expected. We especially enjoyed the view of the lake. The gas fireplaces in several rooms were a nice addition because it was chilly when we arrived. I felt if there was anything we needed the host was very accessible. We enjoyed our visit and will come again.

Hey Elissa, thank you so much for the 5-star review! We're thrilled you had such a wonderful stay and truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we'd love to welcome you back anytime for another visit! - Paula, Heirloom Vacations
Accommodations exceeded our expectations for our family weekend. Clean, comfortable , and spacious to accommodate our party attending the weekend marathon. Only negative was the bedroom and bathroom doors all squeaked which made it hard for the early risers to allow later ones to rest longer. Nothing a little door hinge lubrication wouldn’t fix. Thanks for the family memories you helped us create!!!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review, Kristi! It was such a pleasure hosting you and your family. I'm so happy to hear the home gave you the space and comfort you needed for a fun marathon weekend together. I also really appreciate you taking the time to mention the squeaky bedroom and bathroom doors, that kind of feedback helps us keep the home in great shape, and we'll get those taken care of. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We truly hope we get the chance to welcome you and your family back again soon!- Paula, Heirloom Vacations
Clean , spacious, lots of bath towels . Could have used more than 1 dish towel and wash rag . A few of the cooking utensils were put away dirty . Very minor things . Beautifully decorated & comfortable . Literally had everything we needed. The hiking books were a nice touch & the game on the wall was enjoyed . Hot tub was down when we were there that was disappointing but not the owners fault . We enjoyed the whirlpool tub in our room instead .

Jennifer, thank you so much for this thoughtful review! I love knowing the hiking books and wall game were actually enjoyed, those little details make us so happy. I’m sorry a few kitchen items were missed and that there weren’t enough extra towels available. Those details still matter, and we’ll make sure they receive closer attention. I know the hot tub being unavailable was disappointing, but I’m glad the whirlpool tub gave you another way to relax. We truly appreciate your feedback and would love to welcome you back! - Paula, Heirloom Vacations
Everything was wonderful except that the hot tub was out of order the whole time we were there. Nothing the owner could have done about that though since it's a building amenity. Would definitely come back!

Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review, Andrew! I'm so glad you had such a great stay. We really appreciate your understanding about the hot tub being unavailable, as building amenities can occasionally require unexpected maintenance that's outside of our control. It means a lot to hear you'd come back, and we'd love the opportunity to host you again for another visit! - Paula, Heirloom Vacations
