If traveling in the snow, we highly recommend utilizing a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
The road will be plowed as well as the driveway, but winters in the Adirondacks are beautiful but can sometimes be unpredictable!

The cabin was beautiful and well-maintained. It was a good fit for our group of adult colleagues. The location was nice and the water access very convenient. We had an issue with one of the beds that was remedied very quickly. Would stay again.

Had a great time! The house was conveniently located and the water access was great. The layout of the house worked well for our three families (8 people). The deck was nice and the covered awning over the BBQ grill was very helpful when it started to rain while grilling one night. The kids had a great time fishing off the dock. We hope to have another family reunion at the house again!

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! Gerry was an excellent host. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into making guests feel at home. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay. We enjoyed the fire pit, the dock for a boat, and the beautiful kitchen to cook and grill outside.

We really enjoyed our stay. To be able to view the lake from the house was wonderful. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck/ porch & have your coffee in the morning & watch the boats go by!We did also use the fire pit & outside table seating. The 2 new stools were very nice & comfortable to sit at the counter.The only suggestion I would make would be to leave more than 1 roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms! We needed to go out to buy toilet paper!Also, the yellow light in the car port did shine in our bedroom window & we could not figure out how to turn it off!!Overall we had a wonderful stay.

We had a great 4 day weekend stay. Weather was beautiful! House was perfect for our adult family of 8. Alot of places are closing for the season. One recommendation...the water gets very hot quickly. Could be turned down. House was very cozy!

5 stars! What a great spot and house! We were 6 adults and 1 dog and there was plenty of space. We ate outdoors on the deck and hung out on the dock! Very close to town and Lake Placid. Super clean and lots of amenities provided. The host was super helpful and responsive. Would really recommend!

It was a great stay! House was clean and had everything we could ever need! We traveled with 4 adults and 3 children. Check in and out we're a breeze. If we ever decide to travel up that way again we will definitely try to book this house! Great private and quite location!
