Big Bear is Southern California’s 4-season mountain escape. Located in the heart of Southern California, it is the jewel of the San Bernardino National Forest, known for excellent fishing, snow sports, hiking, mountain biking and a vibrant theater, and music scene.
Cabin is located within steps of Summit Mountain - Central to everything Big Bear.

City of Big Bear Lake allows limited, street parking (across the street).
Vehicles parked blocking neighbors or snowplows, may be cited and/or towed at vehicle owner's expense.
Winter precautions are always in place - you must carry chains from November 1 - April 1. Snow creates limited and "tight" driveway parking - a four-wheel drive vehicle with higher clearance is preferred. Regular vehicles may be challenged by winter icy road or driveway conditions, that is why chains are required. Caltrans and CHP will enforce chain requirements.
Step inside and you're immediately greeted by Big Bear charm - experience the mountains with the warm fireplace, big screen, smart TV, theater style couch, large counter eating area, and open kitchen layout. Enjoy complimentary, Keurig, k-cup style cup of coffee!
1st Floor is lounging, tabletop game with Pacman and Donkey Kong and other tabletop games, well equipped kitchen with counter seating as well as a beautiful dining table, laundry room with washer and dryer available, dedicated area for skis or boards, and full bathroom.
2nd Floor has 2 bedrooms; one bedroom with a king bed, TV and balcony; the other bedroom with a queen bed and TV. Full bathroom with tub.
3rd Floor has a loft with bunk beds, lower bunk is a full-sized bed, while the upper bunk is a twin (for those 150 lbs or lighter). TV with XBox and dedicated desk you can work at, too,
The fun begins when you walk to Summit Mountain! We have a private charcoal BBQ - you're welcome to use, as well as our shared, building propane BBQ.
Free, off-street, driveway parking for 2 cars, 1 spot is reserved for Unit 1; 1 spot can be in reserved guest parking slots (but it's first come-first get for guest parking spots),
