Excellent weekend!

We loved our stay in Casitas Kunderbut. Mareen couldn't have been more helpful. The location was the best in the city, Just a short walk from all the best sights, and the house was lovely. Thanks for having us!

Pros: Really nice tiny little house right in the center of Alicante in a typical spanish neighbourhood. The house is full of lovely details and every floor and corner has his own caracter. You can reach the beach in a 10 minutes walk trough the very nice old town of Alicante and bus and subway station are right around the corner. It was a very pleasant and relaxating stay and we can recomend Mareens Townhouse to everyone.

Beautiful Casita

This is a gem of a property. Traditional Spanish house with quirky decor. Exceptionally well equipped for a long or short stay. Very comfortable bed, good modern shower and a beautiful view of city, sea and castle from the sunny roof terrace. Great location close to transport links, fresh food market and restaurants. It is in quite an elevated position and the house has steep stairs but it’s all very manageable if you are reasonably mobile. We stayed a whole month and loved it. Excellent communication with property owner and a very warm welcome.

Pros: If you want to relax in nice surroundings, with the best views over the city, this is the right place to stay. Beautiful apartment in three floors with a terrace on top. Everything you need is on hand. Feels like you are in a small village, but walking the steps down for a five minutes, you are right in the town center with beautiful architecture and the lovely beach! Owners very welcoming and taking care of what ever needed.

Too cold for dinner ..it was November. Nice area ,,close to everything . We enjoyed to buy food at the market only 2 minutes away . Mareen was very helpful and we enjoyed our gastronomic tour in Alicante We will come back next year 😀

Pros: My husband and I spent 5 lovely days in Alicante in this well-situated and pleasing apartment. The owner met us the first night, had a bottle of wine there to greet us, and took a personal interest in seeing that we felt comfortable. She even took time the next day to show us around a bit and tell us some of the history of the city. The apartment had everything we needed and the views from the terrace were simply stunning. Further, it was easy walking distance to the museums, many restaurants and cafes, the waterfront, and the Santa Barbara castle.

Pros: We had a very Nice stay at Mareens house in Alicante, placed in the old beautiful part of the city. The view is amazing on top of the house and its close to everything you need. Mareen gave us a good welcome and explained everything we needed to know. She really gave that little extra to make it perfect for us. Thank you and if we come back we Will try to stay at your place Again. There was really everything you need in the house, even a welcome bottle of wine! Beautiful.

Pros: Spent a fabulous 10 days here in June the house is absolutely gorgeous everything you could possibly need is there and the views from every level are amazing the castle lit up at night from the roof terrace was our favourite we took advantage of Mareen's airport transfer so a stress free start to our holiday Mareen gave some handy info on where to eat shop ect and there was a nice bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived the town with plenty of everything shops bars restaurants is 5 minutes walk away 15 minutes walk back (uphill) and the tram station about 2 minutes away sadly we didn't get to spend time with Mareen as she was kept very busy having a baby who was born 2 days after we arrived we did get to meet baby Emma before we left so if your looking for something a bit different to just a normal package holiday we would highly recommend casita kunterbunt

Pros: This very charming little house is just perfect if you want to experience Alicante city and get a feeling of how it is to live there. The location in the old part "El Barrio" with close proximity to all the restaurants, cafés, bars and attractions like cathedrals and museums is just perfect. The house is in the highest parts of El Barrio which gives a stunning view over the town, the St Barbara Castle and the sea - we have spent many wonderful evenings on the roof-top terrace. Mareen is i really lovely hostess that makes your stay nice and smooth. The house is fine for two persons (not more) and since the location is high you must be prepared on uphill road and stairs.

Pros: From start to finish, we had the most amazing week in this beautiful little house. Mareen met us from the airport, settled us in and then took us to a local restaurant. The next morning she met us for breakfast and then we had a tour of some of the city. She is the best host ever ! The house is utterly charming, contains everything you could possibly need and has the most spectacular views. We stay in a few holiday houses every year and this has been our favourite. We have never had such a relaxing holiday, thanks to the warm weather and the roof terrace on which to enjoy it. This is a great part of the city to stay in. It's so pretty and still a short walk from the beach or many bars and shops. Would certainly come back.

Pros: Wow....Casita Kunterbunt is so special. Everything about it was 100%. We were looked after and made to feel very welcome by Mareen. Our Spanish neighbours, were the icing on the cake, trying to teach us Spanish. We had the best of both worlds here. Living in a quiet area. Friendly and such a beautiful home. And then the hustle and bustle of Alicante just 20 minutes walk away. Such a vibrant city. We have holidayed abroad for many years, but Casita Kunterbunt proves that miracles do happen....thank you again Mareen.

Pros: Mid January we spent 2 weeks in Mareen's lovely house. She was the perfect host, picked us up at the airport, gave us a very interesting excursion in the historic part of Alicante and indicated interesting shops and restaurants. We had our farewell dinner with Mareen at one of her favourite restaurants - the evening was splendid! The house is perfectly situated in a quiet part of the old town. Each floor has its own atmosphere. The roof terrasse has splendid views and we had many of our lunches there ( they might last for hours because of the views and the sun). Museums, shops and restaurants are within reach. If you prepare your own meals the nearby market is a must! We highly recommend Mareen's house to those who seek a quiet place in a city offering all kinds of temptations.
