The Space:

Tucked among mature evergreens in the cool morning mist, this Brookings cabin is a place to find true relaxation on the Southern Oregon Coast. Spend your days exploring a spectacular stretch of coastline, and your afternoons and evenings unwinding and dining alfresco on two gorgeous decks.



This single-story cabin sits up in the treetops, just across the Oregon Coast Highway and up the hill from Whaleshead Beach. It's located in the heart of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor - a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches, and go for long, scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges, and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles.



Between the two separate decks and the large picture windows found throughout the house, the main cabin is a showcase of its lovely surroundings. Sip your coffee in the fragrant forest air, barbecue on the gas grill in the evenings, and sip wine on the deck off the bedroom as the golden hour light filters through the trees. The interior is cozy and welcoming, from the window-lined living and dining areas to the well-equipped kitchen. There is a charming queen bedroom, bathroom, two TVs, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi for your comfort and convenience.



The studio is separated from the main cabin by a lovely deck for greater privacy and offers an additional queen bedroom and bathroom.

We were in communication with the host on items to be addressed. We were quite pleased at how quickly they responded to our concerns. Also, if the host follows through with how they addressed our concerns, it will be a more positive experience. Even though we were told, in the description, that there was room to park only one car, we found that there was room to actually park our Toyota 4-Runner and Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was a pleasant surprise. In closing, we would like to say that everyone has their own perspective. We will leave it up to future guests what they think of this cabin.
