The Space:

Find yourself captivated by the beach waves of Edisto Island at this astonishing getaway! This home has been freshly repainted and includes new flooring, new lighting, new furniture and kitchen appliances, and even a new porch. The beach is only a short two-block walk from your humble abode. Spend the morning listening to the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore and splashing in the water. Come back home to wash up your sandy beachwear in your own private washer/dryer, and then sit outside to soak up the sun as you dry off and cook up a mouthwatering meal on your own gas grill. Visit the Kings Farm Market and pick up the island's famed Key Lime Pie.



After a long day at the beach, come back to take advantage of the outdoor shower to easily spritz away the sand. Once you're all dry, head back inside and set up some board games and turn on the TV to stream some of your favorite shows. Enjoy the beautiful weather of the low country on the home's screened porch and enjoy all that this fine location has to offer.

Barefoot Lizzy was perfect for our four day vacation. It was beautifully decorated, well supplied and very clean. It had plenty of parking, provided great access to beaches and was located on a quiet cul de sac.

Fantastic place!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed! It is in a great location - close to the beach. I loved sitting out on the screen porch. The whole family had a great time and we would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Stay in a Lovely Setting!

We enjoyed this very well maintained and nicely decorated home. The location nestled in the live oaks and palms is restful and beautiful. We loved coffe and cocktails on the porch. It is only a short walk to the ocean and only a short drive to stores and restaurants. We would stay again!

Loved Edisto

Barefoot Lizzy was clean with open floor plan and had all necessities you would need for your stay. Within minutes walk right to beautiful beach. We will definitely be back again!

Great stay

We had an enjoyable stay. Close proximity to the beach with plenty of space. Appliances were good and the place was very clean. Recommend spraying for mosquitos following the recent rain and storms as they were very prevalent under the house.

Perfect place to enjoy Edisto!

We have spent s lot of time on Edisto and absolutely loved our stay at Barefoot Lizzy. Looks to be a recent update and it is beautiful. Loved relaxing in the evening on the screened in deck and listening to the waves. Great location close to the beach and a short walk to Whaley's. Will definitely stay here in there future.

Great Place to Stay

This house was perfect for our family. It was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Our kids enjoyed playing with the beach toys and boogie boards provided by the house. The swing under the house was really sweet too. We hope Barefoot Lizzy is available the next time we visit Edisto!

A family favorite.

Edisto is our favorite. We very much enjoyed our stay at barefoot Lizzy. The porch was so nice in the evenings. The house matches the description and is very well equipped. A short golf cart ride to the beach and favorite restaurants. We would rent again.

Spring Break Getaway

We had a great time at Edisto Beach staying at Barefoot Lizzy. House was clean and very well appointed. Fantastic location. Very quiet. Seamless check in and out, and prompt attention for a minor plumbing concern which was rectified in about half a hour. Would highly recommend the island and this property!

Such a great week!

We loved this house. Very short walk to the beach while still tucked away from the main road. Plenty of room for 3 couples and our 2 dogs. The house was well equipped with kitchen tools and appliances. The porch was so peaceful to sit on in the mornings and evenings. We would highly recommend this house!

Clean and crisp

We had a great time at Barefoot Lizzy’s. The space was just right for our family of 5. Though a straight shot to the beach, I would recommend bringing a wagon for toting children/stuff. Well-stocked house and super clean/fresh!
