This home is located in The Sea Ranch on the Sonoma Coast, a masterfully planned community known for its dramatic coastline, meadows, and forest trails. Nearby highlights include community heated pool and hot tub (South) (15-minute walk), Pebble Beach access trail (2-minute drive), Black Point headland trails (3-minute drive). Explore over Sea Ranch's 50 miles of trails, discover tidepools at low tide, swim in heated community pools, and end the day with dinner at The Sea Ranch Lodge. For provisions, Gualala (10 minutes south) has grocery stores, restaurants, and a gas station. Jenner and Bodega Bay are scenic drives south.



Getting Around:

Take a scenic drive up the coast to Mendocino for galleries, shops, restaurants, and Mendocino Headlands State Park, less than 60 miles north. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.

The amenities were all fine. We had no direct connection with the host. The house was cozy and the perfect place for the three of us. I had lived at TSR for almost twenty years before moving to the Pacific Northwest fifteen years ago. What made this trip so great for me was the return with all the incredible memories. The sunshine, high surf, and redwoods felt like they were welcoming home for a visit. The hot tub was a great plus. A great week.

Cozy Sea Ranch home with easy access to beaches, pools and redwood hikes. The home was well stocked and well taken care of. We had an issue with checking in, as the front door electronic lock did not work, but if this is resolved, we'd definitely stay there again.

Lovely Retreat!

The Wolf House is quiet, modern and very clean! Thoughtful details are provided throughout the house, including extra towels for the hot tub and beach and a well stocked kitchen. This is our second stay at The Wolf House and we plan to return year after year to enjoy the private hot tub, forest views and easy access to hiking trails and beaches.

We really enjoyed the setup, extra cozy blankets, fireplace which we didn’t use but the idea of it was great 😂 we all 4 fit on the couch. There was coffee and powdered creamer available and we greatly appreciated it since we didn’t get to the store before check in. Easy and private hot tub entry. Super clean and cozy cozy cozy. Will be back!

Great house!

My teenagers and I really loved our stay here. Sea Ranch is so charming and relaxing and this house did not disappoint. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware. There were some spices, olive oil, coffee, etc. in the cupboards as well. The hot tub and grill were both great. It's on the non-ocean side of highway 1 and up a bit of a hill, so if you want to go walking around the bluffs, you may end up needing to drive. All in all a wonderful stay! One thing I would say though is that having to go into Gualala to get the parking permits from the Vacasa lock box on the first day is annoying and out of the way. The house has a code to the door that I got via email/text ahead of time, so it'd be great to just have the parking passes in the house.

So glad we chose this home as our vacation spot!

House was clean. Had everything we needed to cook a few dinners. Washer and dryer onsite was a great convenience to us. Hot tub was clean and at 104 upon arrival. No jets, but that didn't bother us. House is set up as two master bedrooms with own bathroom, which worked great for us with our teenage daughter!! Wifi and TV worked well. Very peaceful setting...every evening sat on the small porch reading a book. Several days a family of deer stopped by. Access to the Association pools and beaches was a great benefit. Would definitely stay again.

All was well except for lack of basic supplies which we had to buy, ie.TP, dish soap etc. also, recycling was completely full so we had to leave it out and create new bags. All is left for property managers. Maybe this time they will do something., We spoke with someone upon arrival who did nothing.

The Wolf House

I loved this home! It was just what we needed for relaxation, adventure, comfort and fun. The beds were super comfortable and I haven't slept that well in so long. I felt refreshed in the AM and the clean windows overlooking the ocean was the perfect view for my morning yoga practice. There are plenty of walking trails with such gorgeous views. I appreciate that no shoes are allowed in the home, so I was ways comfortable walking around knowing the floors were clean. We relaxed at night with a nice fire, BBQ, board games, and movies. During the day, we explored many beaches and every evening, we watched the sunset at Pebble Beach. Definitely lots to explore and will have to go again to have more time to see and experience all we didn't get a chance to see. I highly recommend staying here.

Overall a decent place. bit odd to drive all the way up to Gualala to get check-in items when everything could be either emailed or left at property. Inside home a bit dated but not bad. House keeping could be brought up a notch or two and a clear and concise binder on how sound/music works, tv and apps etc. all of that pretty unorganized. Small fixable things that could really help. Location is quiet and nice.
