Bethany Victorian Short Walk to the Beach with Wooded Yard

Whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway or a family friendly place to stay, our house is in a great location in Bethany Beach. Located away from the street in a small private neighborhood, our house is a short walk from the beach and all the shops and restaurants of downtown Bethany. We love walking to the beach or dinner at the restaurants downtown and not having to bring our car. With 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, it features a king bed, queen bed, three twin beds, and a full bed, plus a cozy living room with an additional pull-out queen bed. Laundry room with washer and dryer, central heating and air conditioning, front porch as well as back screened in porch. Please note there are only two dedicated parking spots at the house - let us know if you need parking for more than two cars.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please hang up the keys you used during your stay on the key holder and make sure to return the key to the lockbox.
Please return the parking pass to when you found it hanging.
Make sure to sign a shell and add it to the collection on the mantle!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

My family has owned our beach house for over 20 years and love sharing Bethany with others. If you need restaurant recommendations let us know! My husband and I have three young kiddos and live in Maryland.

Why they chose this property

Our small neighborhood is only 8 homes (technically 4 duplexes) and the walk to the start of downtown Bethany is two blocks.

What makes this property unique

At the beach it is rare to find a house that has a little yard and is ticked away from the street so you aren’t hearing road noise and it is a safe place for kids to play. We provide a lot of amenities for families with young kids like 2 toddler bed rails, a high chair/booster seat, toys and games for the family, and beach games/toys. Since it is such an easy walk to the beach, we provide a beach cart to carry your supplies. If you need to work (hopefully you don’t) we have a desk setup for a workstation.
