I live in Statesville, North Carolina, and work as an Airbnb host in Star, North Carolina alongside my husband, while also serving as a cohost in Maine with my dad, Bill Duncan. Owning a home in Maine has always been a shared dream for both of my parents, who have been visiting the coast for decades. That dream became reality in 2017 with the purchase of an oceanfront property in East Boothbay and a later purchase in Southport, Maine. Today, I help my dad manage the online bookings and guest communications for their two properties, blending family, hospitality, and a love for Maine’s shoreline into the work we do together.
