This is our second visit (stayed 2 years ago). A loft with a breeze and nice bed; a great kitchen. Steps to upstairs ladder-like, so you must be fit to climb. A nice place to stay!
Great location and view. The house is small and good for 2 people. There were a few quirks about the place but it did not interfere with our experience. Recommended.
An enjoyable stay in a comfortable well built and cozy little house. Easy access to everything in the Port Clyde area. Stairs to loft (bedroom) are closer to a ladder (shallow step depth and significant degree of incline) so would be appropriate for fit individuals without knee or hip problems. Overall, a great place for us!

Port Clyde vacation
We liked the facility and the location a lot. The cabin was well equipped for our one week stay. The area was lovely. The town was very interesting. Maine is a beautiful state especially near the water. As birders we were near excursions to Puffins. The only improvement would be to repair the shower door, screws were loose.

Reviewer Comments:
Overall, the property was good, but not particularly clean. And a few utilitarian items were missing, which was quickly rectified by the management company. We are older and would have liked to know how steep the stairs are.

Peace And Quiet
A well-equipped rental and accurately represented.
The kitchen is a dream with high end appliances and quality cookware.
The stairs are definitely short treaded and steep, as the listing suggests. Good to use both handrails on the descents!
The shower is downstairs in the living room, it has a privacy panel available but it's still a tad awkward, though not a deterrent.
The restroom (with skylight) is upstairs, as is the lovely, bright, and airy bedroom with three more skylights and a harbor-facing window (these skylights all hand-crank open and have remote control shades).
The place is very cozy and tranquil. The next door neighbors are all within eye and earshot of open windows and blinds, so it's good counsel to consider what you say and do, and whether the shades/windows are open when you say and do it here.
There is a lovely, albeit narrow, view of the harbor from the strategically placed Adirondack chairs. One should plan a short walk to a better vantage point in order to see the sun rise.
The tranquility here is intoxicating, the coastal Maine landscape is eternally stunning, and the fishing village vibe truly inspires any trace of latent creativity in one's DNA.
It's a great, quirky little place that won't appeal to everyone in the same way. A single or a very compatible, flexible, and low-key couple would likely feel the most comfortable here.

Port Clyde tiny house
The location was great and the house was clean. However, the owner did not provide the wifi password as the description states. The shower is located in the living room, where you eat and there is a tiny bathroom upstairs. The furniture was very uncomfortable and not what we expected. Upon entering the home, the smoke alarm went off and it took forever to find as it was hidden underneath a cabinit. There is no outdoor living space aside from 2 broken adorondack chairs, but no umbrella or shade. This confined us to indoors which again, were limited. It was unusually hot in Maine this week so the windows and sky lights were a welcomed relief. Because there was no wifi or cell service, the one land line also was not working. Under the small t.v is a dangerous looking mess of wires and ports in one overloaded outlet. We are not new to Port Clyde so we know the house is in a great spot but falls way short as far as accomidations. Definitely do not bring children and its more suited for 1 than even an active couple like us. Overall, the owner could put a little more effort in to the living and outdoor spaces to make things more comfortable. The neighbors are wonderful and welcoming which was also a positive but not enough to make us stay at this particular house again.
