About the host
Hosted by Eliane Moyses
Welcome to our mountain sanctuary! Married since 1997 to a lovely man, we have raised two incredible sons—one who honorably serves our nation in the U.S. Navy, and another who is currently a resident doctor. Having immigrated to the United States in 1988, we fell completely in love with the breathtaking natural beauty of North Carolina. That love inspired us to permanently relocate to the area, and we now proudly call nearby Morganton home.
Our rewarding journey in hospitality began back in 2009 in Florida, where we opened our very first short-term rental. Over the years, our passion for hosting grew into managing four successful properties. Throughout our extensive career in the industry, we have always prioritized delivering exceptional value, pristine clean spaces, and highly personalized service for our travelers. We take immense pride in the fact that many of our past guests still keep in touch with us today.
We poured our hearts into fully renovating this modern 3-bedroom A-frame retreat, blending its authentic rustic cabin charm with modern luxuries like individual climate control in every room. Tucked away at 4,100 feet in the Pisgah National Forest, our ultimate goal is to provide a meticulously clean, peaceful environment where your family and friends can slow down, stretch out, and create unforgettable memories together. We look forward to hosting your next Blue Ridge Mountain getaway!
Why they chose this property
We fell completely in love with this specific location because it offers the rare combination of absolute privacy and total convenience. Perched at 4,100 feet within the Pisgah National Forest, the neighborhood is incredibly quiet, peaceful, and entirely surrounded by dense woods and local wildlife. It feels like a hidden sanctuary, yet we are just a short, scenic drive away from Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and all the best hiking, dining, and tourist activities the High Country has to offer."
What makes this property unique
What Makes Our A-Frame Truly Unique?
While there are many beautiful properties in the High Country, our sanctuary stands out by offering a rare combination of high-elevation privacy, meticulous cleanliness, and seasoned hospitality that is hard to find all in one place:
True 4,100-Foot Elevation & Privacy: Many mountain rentals are packed closely together in subdivisions. Our cabin sits on 3 completely private acres inside the Pisgah National Forest at a breathtaking 4,100 feet, giving you cooler summer temperatures, crisper air, and total peace without neighbors looking onto your decks.
17 Years of Cleanliness & Hospitality: We are not accidental pandemic-era hosts. We have been managing short-term rentals since 2009. We know exactly what it takes to maintain a meticulously clean, hygienic environment. Our past travelers stay in touch with us because we prioritize pristine standards and reliable hospitality over everything else.
Individually Controlled Comfort (5 Mini-Splits): Traditional log cabins are notorious for having hot upstairs lofts and freezing main floors. We fully updated our home with five individual mini-split climate zones, meaning every single guest can set their bedroom to their exact preferred temperature.
The Master Bedroom’s Private Perch: Unlike standard decks where the whole group gathers, our master suite features its own private, elevated balcony hidden in the treetops—specifically designed for a quiet, intimate morning coffee experience before the rest of the house wakes up.
