About this property

The Sanctuary at Salem Lake

The Sanctuary is an exceptionally private retreat overlooking your own private pond, just steps from Salem Lake. With direct access to miles of wooded hiking and biking trails, but only 8 minutes to downtown Winston-Salem, it offers rare privacy with immediate access to downtown. This 3-bed, 2-bath home sleeps 6 comfortably (up to 10 with air mattress and futon) and is designed for quiet mornings, stillness, reconnection with nature, and true retreat.

Sitting just above a peaceful private pond and bordering Salem Lake Park, The Sanctuary offers direct access to miles of hiking and biking trails. Sip your morning coffee while watching the cows graze, then spend the day hiking / biking at Salem Lake before watching evening golden hour kiss the trees goodnight.

Despite the serene setting, you’re only eight minutes from downtown, offering the best of both worlds.

You will not find an escape like this like anywhere in the Triad. We're excited for you to see it!

Inside the room with the twin beds is also a high-end, full-size futon bed. Inside the room withe queen, there is also a queen-sized air mattress. The space very comfortably sleeps 6, and up to 10 with the high-end futon and air mattress.

Jeremiah was fantastic to communicate with and made the reservation, entry into the home, etc. super easy. The house is fantastic and the property surrounding it is really fun. A walk around the pond is highly encouraged!! The space was great for our family as we stopped through Winston-Salem. FYI, the downtown area surrounding Cuglio Forno was amazing. Some great restaurants, live music, good bars, lots of activity. Very fun! We highly recommend!!
