Cold fronts can occasionally bring significantly cooler temperatures to Cape Coral, especially from December through February.



For example, temperatures in the Cape Coral–Fort Myers area dropped into the upper 30s during a January 2025 cold snap, and another strong cold front in November 2025 brought morning temperatures into the low 40s.



**These colder periods can significantly affect the performance of an electric pool heater.
