This was a fabulous property! It was perfect for our family - grandparents, children, grandchildren. Something for all of us and a great gathering time. We couldn't have asked for more. The owner and manager were so easy to communicate with. We would love to come back in the future. Unfortunately I think we chose the most expensive time of the year to come and the time of gnats and mosquitos at the fire pit (to no fault of the owners!), but we had a most memorable time together. Because we also wanted to tube and such, we rented a pontoon on Elk Lake. That was an easy drive and worked out great. Otherwise we enjoyed all of the amenities at the house and kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, swimming on Bass Lake. The loons swimming near us and the meteors were a plus! We loved the Elk Rapids downtown and area.
