Wellness Holiday Home with Sauna and Wood-Burning Stove Right on the Water! <br><br>This beautiful house is located in Grimersum (about 5 km past Greetsiel) and, with 4 bedrooms (one on the ground floor) and 2 bathrooms with showers, can accommodate 8 people (ideal, for example, for two families).<br><br>The sauna, the wood-burning stove, and the location right on the Greetsiel Canal (“Greetmer Deep”) make this a perfect holiday spot—not just in the summer. The beautiful exposed wooden beam ceiling and the nautical decor give the house a very special character.<br><br>The ground floor features a spacious living/dining area with large doors leading out to the terrace, which offers an unobstructed view across meadows and fields. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and more. The laundry room, located right next door, houses the washing machine and dryer. The ground-floor bathroom features a shower, toilet, bidet, and sauna. One of the (master) bedrooms (double bed) is also located on the ground floor, making it a great option for hosting grandparents.<br><br>On the upper floor, there are 3 additional bedrooms (1 with a double bed, 2 each with 2 single beds) and another bathroom with a shower.<br>The canal bordering the property directly connects to Greetsiel and Emden; in summer by boat, and in winter, sometimes even on ice skates! A rowing boat and a canoe are available for your use (fee: 10 euros per day). (Boats are available only from April through October, subject to change.)<br><br>The house is located right next to the “Kiek-Wiet” house (No. 16385, visible on the right in the photo), which is also available for rent, in an absolutely quiet residential area (dead-end street). A nice public playground is just a few steps away, so you can let the children go there on their own.<br><br>The house offers free internet access (we do not guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed). <br><br>Please note that bed linens booked as an add-on will not be made up.<br><br>During the holidays, only weekly bookings with Saturday as the check-in day are generally possible.<br><br>A security deposit is required for commercial bookings (such as for technicians); please contact us regarding this.<br><br>The holiday home is located in charming Grimersum, a quiet fishing village near Greetsiel in East Frisia. Surrounded by green meadows and idyllic waterways, the location offers the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying nature. Bicycle and hiking trails wind through the expansive countryside and along the typical East Frisian canals, inviting you to take leisurely excursions. The popular harbour town of Greetsiel, with its twin windmills, small shops, and restaurants, is just a few minutes’ drive away. An ideal location to experience authentic East Frisia and enjoy the proximity to the North Sea.<br><br>You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterwards for a fee.
