This high-quality thatched-roof holiday home, featuring its own dock, infrared sauna, fireplace, and rowing boat, is situated in a stunning location with an unobstructed view of the Krummhörner Meeden.

The tastefully furnished “Friesenhaus” is ideal for a family of up to 6 people and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers.

GROUND FLOOR: Living and dining area with a wood-burning stove, cable TV, and a hi-fi system. KITCHEN with ceramic cooktop and oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, and coffee pod machine. The modern, high-quality bathroom features an infrared sauna (for 2 people), shower, and toilet. From the living room, step out through the large arched window onto the terrace with a stunning view over the fields and the Eilsumer Sieltief. A second terrace is available, as well as a large garden shed where you can store any bicycles you bring with you. A bedroom with a double bed is located next to the bathroom on the ground floor. Blackout curtains are available in the bedrooms.

UPPER FLOOR: Master bedroom with a double bed (1.60 m × 2 m). Second bedroom with 2 single beds (0.90 m × 2 m). There is a TV in the living area and in each bedroom. Another bathroom with a shower and toilet. Utility room with a washing machine and dryer.

The house is designated as a smoke-free home and is wheelchair-accessible. Tile flooring on the ground floor (with underfloor heating) and vinyl laminate on the upper floor.

Starting in mid-June 2024, dogs are also welcome in this house!

From the outside, the house stands out with its thatched roof (artificial thatch) and its location right on the water. Since 2022, the house has also had a covered patio!

The house is largely equipped with fly screens and has 3 parking spaces.

With the provided Pionier rowing boat (including 2 children’s life jackets), you can explore the surrounding area and even row all the way to Greetsiel. (Boat availability is limited to April through October and subject to change).

A lovely children’s playground and horseback riding opportunities are located in the immediate vicinity.

At the highest point of the Warf in Eilsum, very close to your holiday home, stands the Eilsum Church, visible from afar. It is the only church in East Frisia with a choir tower. Lothar de Riese wrote: “It is well worth it for any art connoisseur to visit this imposing church—which to some may seem far too large for a farming village—and its 36-meter-high bell tower.”

Inside the church is a 500-year-old copper baptismal font, as well as precious 13th-century frescoes—discovered as recently as the 1970s.

It is about 3 km from Eilsum to the beautiful fishing village of Greetsiel. Beautifully maintained and well-signposted bike paths invite you to enjoy varied bike tours throughout Krummhörn and the surrounding area.
