Quaint cottage with river views provided an outstanding experience as we moved our daughter into UNC-W. We were able to rest and relax in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!

Simply beautiful. The house maintains characterful charm and modern amenities. The specs are high end. That kitchen, oh my, is dazzling! You just have to cook there at least once. Some of the house is still in transition, but it's all charming, comfortable, and clean. It's an excellent place to rest. Because the house across the street has walking access on the river blocked off, you have to go around the block, which isn't far. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The trolley also goes by the house, so getting around the area is easy. Wonderful views of the river can be seen from the comfort of the living room. Thank you, Capt. J, for sharing your lovely home.

Life is easy here, uncomplicated and with a lot of different things you can choose to do and see; walkable blocks away or along the expansive riverwalk.

What makes this property unique

Away from the hustle and bustle of the immediate downtown nightlife, restaurants and tourist attractions; (albeit all of these things are walkable blocks away) This home is situated in an enclave of pre-revolutionary homes on a quite street overlooking the Cape Fear River on its high bluff juxtaposition.
