The location is remote, which is exactly what we wanted. The kids (12 and 10) had a blast exploring the hills and creek around us and utilizing the lower level for themselves. The house was very well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the showers were hot! There is a little town right down the road (four or five buildings) where you can get some drinks and food. There is no AC, and being from Houston I was a little worried. We got in around five o’clock and the house was 83 degrees. We opened the windows, used the four portable fans that were provided, and the house cooled pretty fast. By the time we went to bed, it was comfortable. Also, the driveway closest to the house is pretty steep, but there is another driveway that’s more gradual. The outside trash cans can be found in the garage.
