Cool air flows through the cottage, making it comfortable no matter the season even without the A/C on.

Step outside and feel the serene atmosphere that surrounds the property, inviting you to unwind and relax. This amazing cottage offers a peaceful retreat where guests can truly escape.

Beach Point beach is just a few minutes walk and overlooks beautiful Provincetown Harbor and the Pilgrim Monument.

This property is tucked into a beautiful wooded setting within the Cape Cod National Seashore, surrounded by the natural landscape and wildlife that make this area so special. With that setting comes the occasional visit from nature—including spiders, ants, moths, squirrels, chipmunks, deer, birds, skunks, and other local wildlife.

We make every effort to coexist responsibly with the surrounding environment, including protecting bees, caterpillars, and other beneficial pollinators, so pesticide use is intentionally kept to a minimum. A can of Raid is available under the sink should you need it, although insects have not been an issue or a source of complaints from guests.

The free shuttle bus runs hourly during the day and stops right out front. The bus runs a circular route through North Truro and into the center of Provincetown as well. So you can enjoy the peaceful and natural beauty of the National Seashore in Truro, but also partake of the festive party atmosphere of Provincetown.

Great stay. Would suggest a small table next to stove for prep. Toaster. Possibly a mop because the swiffer doesn’t clean the painted floor well. All in all we loved our stay, great location and cozy as described. Ty

Hi. Communication with the host was easy via VRBO. I was to retrieve the front door key via a box opened by a four digit code and I had some difficulty with that; fortunately, a neighbor helped me. The cottage, although small, was very comfortable, spic and span clean and met my needs; the tiny bathroom worked perfectly and the shower was EXCELLENT, with quick and plenty of hot water. In the back of the cottage is an outdoor shower, which I didn't use. In the kitchen, I could have used more cups. Although there is a stove there, there were no instructions on how to use it. I think it was a gas stove, but there were no usable matches nearby, so I made coffee and heated soup and pastry in the microwave which was very convenient. The host left some fresh orange juice/milk/eggs in the refrigerator which was a very welcome treat.The cottage is right by the Shore Road so I availed myself of the free shuttle to travel to the nearby free beach/Provincetown and Salty Market This cottage is in a group of condominiums and I felt very safe and had total privacy. I would highly recommend this property.

Floors dirtygritty to the touch, chairs littered w/crumbs, microwave filthy, tableshelving dustydirty; insideoutside fridge dirty. Bathroom reeked of cleaner but bowl not completely cleanthe toilet seat had pubic hairs. Shower tiles mildewed, 1 tile had come loose; mildewed shade. Dust on every surface. Pet hair on the bdr rug, which was left rolled up. Thick dirtpet hair underbehind all furniture. No blankets, just a paper thin bedspread (w/2 bloodstains)caught cold 1st night. Junk in closet, no hangers. No dish drying rack so hand-dried everything w/microfiber dish towel; no cutting board or vegetable peeler, teensy mugs. Uncomfortable thick (not memory) foam pillowscrazy lights that in bdrkitchen had to be unplugged because started blinking. Must rig the knob to actually lock door. Due to tech issue? welcome email not rec'd until post-arrival (not our host's fault)got a wrong #--he says correct. We spent 1st afternoon at local library trying to find his #, then contacted VRBO. Host denied the place was dirty ("I cleaned the stove myself!" he said (yes, the stovetop but not the oven or front a crusty cookie sheet left inside.) In spite of telling him I'd gotten chilled, (crummy) blankets not delivered until next a.m. His reply? "It's 65it's not like we have 40 blankets sitting around, we had to wash line dry them!" VRBO saw pixrefunded us max of 277.For the 1800 incl fees we paid, we deserved blankets, pro cleaningrespect. Got the blankets.

Guest received my phone number the day before check-in in the welcome email. Guest waited over a day after check-in to contact me while still claiming they couldn't contact me. Not logical. The entire cottage was swept and mopped before guest arrived. Rug was vacuumed and not rolled up as guest stated. No stains on bedding. The evening low during guest's stay was 65 and daily high was 75, so it was never "freezing" as stated. Extra blankets delivered within two hours of request and documented via photograph of them on the porch in the VRBO chat, but guest still claims they didn't arrive until the next morning. Guest stated no cleaning supplies, but Ajax, Pinesol, Fantastic, and Palmolive dish soap all under sink in kitchen along with new sponges and scrubbers. Door closes fine. No "tech issue." Reviews by other guests are five star with no complaints. No refund provided by host. Neighbors report being accosted by guest who complained about the weather. Suffice to say, this guest was not honest in their portrayal of the unit's condition and seemed to possibly just be angling for a refund even though they stayed five nights and never asked to cancel. They are not welcome to return.
