Pet-Friendly, Mayberry Blue home, minutes from Downtown

Hello, my name is Andrew Jones, and I host the Mayberry Blue! My wife, Alyson, and I love to host others in our home because we believe that everyone should feel at home on their vacations! When we travel, we love vacation homes because of the unique spaces and amenities you just can't find anywhere else! Each home is an extension of the host and their personalities. Within our home, you can find our humor throughout the artwork, our hatred for 'millennial grey,' like all other homes. We have bright personalities, with a bright, inviting home. My wife and I used to live in this home right after college, and it was a great place to call home for nearly 5 years. Now, with our growing family, we have since moved but couldn't see ourselves moving on from this place.

Now, we enjoy our new home that's about 10 minutes away but closer to my aging parents. So we work and check on the homes often. I work now for a restaurant group, and my wife Alyson is a marketer. (Probably should have let her set up this page instead of me!) We enjoy traveling, Appalachian State, and spending time with our loved ones. That's what is so cool about being a host: we get to help others with two things we enjoy! Our mission is to let you enjoy time with your loved ones in a home setting, while also getting to travel!

Mayberry (Mount Airy) is a lovely town where my wife and I both grew up, even though we didn't meet until college. Enjoy the laid-back small town with history and southern hospitality around every corner! Can't wait to welcome you to town!

Our property is unique because it is an extension of us! With the artwork found throughout, you can see our eclectic style. From the 4.5-star rating above the toilet with a recommendation of 'would poop here again', to the raccoon in a tuxedo that welcomes you at the door, we felt like making it fun! We pride our home as well, with our fenced-in backyard. As a pet-friendly home, dogs LOVE our backyard. Its truely an oasis for them. It is .5 of an acre that's fully ready to play! The fence line during the summer months can't even be seen from the back of the porch. Trust us, it's there! During the winter months, with a keen eye, you can see it from the back door. There is a large open area to play fetch after a long car ride to the wooded area for your dogs to sniff around in! Not trying to single out our feline friend lovers, but most cats I know would hop the fence, but there are plenty of trees for them to climb if you trust your cat that much lol.

With an open garage, we welcome you to park inside to get your car out of the elements. With such a safe neighborhood, it's not necessary, but optional for you! If you drive an EV, we have a charger in the garage waiting for you at no additional cost. We are listed on other sites, and some of our reviews always say how at home people immediately feel. At the end of the day, that's our main goal. Feel at home!
