Hi, Deanne...Thanks so much for your review. We agree the location to beach, shopping and food is great! Walton County allows construction to start as early as 6:30AM each morning. Old Seagrove is booming right now, with older homes either being torn down for new construction or completely renovated, and new homes built as vacant lots sell. It is something that we unfortunately cannot control, and has almost become normal these last few years, so we are very appreciative of our guests who understand! Grayt 30A Vacations

Hi, Michele...Thanks for your review on the Elizabeth White House. We appreciate your call on the pool condition and are glad the pool service company took care of you. The pool is serviced twice weekly, on Saturdays and Wednesdays; however, we did experience very high winds during the weekend of your arrival, which does blow debris from the surrounding trees into the pool, tending to clog the filter. All of the restrooms in the house have been renovated within the last 5 years, the roof replaced and the exterior of the home painted within the last 3 years (the kitchen was renovated about 6 years ago). We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us; the location to the beach and Seaside is very convenient!

Hi, Gaye...We are glad you enjoyed the Elizabeth White House for your vacation, and are very sorry we were not aware of your issues while you were in-house. There is a new home under construction next door to the north of the house, and the owner of the vacant lot south of the house does allow contractors to park equipment there, but completion is coming soon. 30A, as well as South Walton in its entirety, is a rapidly growing area - we have definitely, both fortunately in ways and unfortunately in ways, been discovered! The holiday week of July 4th is the biggest week of the summer for us here at the beach, and is indeed quite crowded. The layout of the home is as you describe, and as we describe in our listing and photos. We are sorry to hear of your encounters with renters across the street and have reached out to that management company with your comments. The pool at Elizabeth White House is serviced twice weekly and was cleaned the day of your arrival and again mid-week during your stay; however, we did experience morning rain and storms pretty much every day of your occupancy week, which does cause leaves and tree debris to fall into the pool. Hopefully you were able to experience some enjoyment while you were here; perhaps a visit in the off-season sometime would be more to your liking - it is wonderful here year-round, much more so outside our crazy summer season!
