Miners cottage in the heart of Galena Historic district. 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom. The master has a king size bed with a TV. The main floor bedroom has a double bed with a TV. And the upstairs "kids" room has two extra long twin beds with a TV. The kitchen is large and well appointed with plenty of equipment. Large dining area with seating for six. Dog friendly with a 1/3 acre yard to play in. On site front loader washer & dryer. Walk to downtown or through the beautiful historic neighborhood and the pet friendly park adjacent to Galena's oldest Cemetery. Free wifi.

Sweet, vintage cottage

Perfect for my family of 4-5 adults. In town for a family wedding. Hills did make walking downtown impossible. No Ubers, hard to find transportation downtown be prepared to drive. But the hills, narrow, winding streets are what make Galena charming. Nice outdoor space. Kitchen perfect as I had to prep a wedding cake.

Great location

We had a great few days staying in Galena. Was easy to walk into town and back which was great both during the day and for dinner. Very well equipped house for those who prefer to stay in and cook. Recommended!

Charming place to stay!

Very accurately described - cozy cottage walking distance to downtown Galena - owners were very communicative and house was clean and well maintained. Would be nice to have some more patio furniture, firepit type things as there's a spacious yard -

Enjoyed our time in Galena! Had to drive everywhere, since I had an elderly person with me who could not have walked the hills. A little tricky for her to get down the stairs to the front door of the house but the sturdy railing helped. The main floor bedroom and bathrooms were great for her. No bathrooms on the second floor, but that was OK for those of us who slept up there. Was glad there were two bathrooms. I really liked having no house chores to do the morning we left. Only had to put the key in the lock box. The house gave us a lovely opportunity to visit, make meals and relax.

Great weekend getaway

Wonderful!

First time in Galena and we didn't realize all the hills for this location. If you are willing to drive then this is the place for you. If you plan on walking, you will get your workout in for sure!

Cute home in historic district

This cute little home is nestled into the historic district. It was extremely inviting, clean, and worked perfectly for our girls trip. Aaron was great and super responsive to messages. Just one note, if you plan on walking to downtown Galena be prepared for hills! The walk is not far though. Would definitely recommend this home to stay in and would absolutely stay here again!

Cute house, clean, description is accurate.

House was just as described. It is within walking distance but if you do shop til you drop you should take your vehicle to have a place to drop your bags off. You have some hill to walk if not. Overall great experience, no trouble.

Great Cottage Charm.

Perfect Location

Very nice house with plenty of space. Great two full baths. Really had everything we needed. We love being outside and spent most of our time sitting out front. Loved the neighborhood atmosphere and had a chat with a few people walking their dogs.

Feels like home

This property is not fancy, but it is the cleanest, most well maintained and best stocked property we have used. There is a Keurig coffee maker and a drip maker. We weren’t sure about the Keurig but we took coffee in case. Perfect! We will all remember the dog in the corner.
