ELSEWHERE by the SEA is a stunning beachfront villa in the upscale gated community of Lagoons, just 20 minutes from the Montego Bay international airport. The beach, pool and expansive outdoor living area make it the perfect location to celebrate a special occasion, gather for a family holiday or indulge in an adult getaway.

5 beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with a private bath, sleep up to 12 guests. Four King bedrooms and one bedroom with a pair of twins (that can be made into a king) comfortably sleep five couples. An additional bunk bed in the twin room can accommodate two additional children or teenagers.

The home is complemented by a large veranda and bar area, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets over the Caribbean Sea while sipping a frosty cocktail. Continue your evening with a special dinner prepared by your private chef and served on the breezy veranda, the sandy beach or the dock with the water glistening around you. A magical evening!

The private pool features a Baja deck for tanning and an infinity edge that blends seamlessly into the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The pool deck provides access to a lovely beach that is suitable for watersport activities and comes with complimentary kayaks and paddleboards.

Elsewhere is located in a protected sanctuary with abundant marine life right off the dock. Explore the waters surrounding Elsewhere with our newest addition to the property, Anywhere, a 26 ft power catamaran perfect for sunset cruises, snorkeling trips or a tour of Montego Bay with a stop at Doctor's Cave beach or Margaritaville. A complimentary sunset cruise or reef snorkeling trip with our captain is included for all rentals of seven days or more. Additional trips can be arrange with the captain at a reduced price.

For swimming in the sea, we recommend a short boat or car ride to Doctors Cave Beach or a short walk to the private residence beach (formerly Hard Rock Beach Club).

In addition to your private villa, guests have access to the amenities of the Lagoons including a playground and tennis courts. Within minutes of the villa is the Montego Bay Yacht Club, the Houseboat Restaurant, and the private residents beach (near the former Hard Rock Cafe Beach Club). You will be a few minutes from five top notch golf courses and all that Montego Bay has to offer!

Elsewhere was excellent. The staff took such great care of us.The day we came, they were outside waiting for us, greeting us and helping us to settle in. Ms. M. took such good care of cleaning our rooms and washing our laundry each day, ironing if we needed it. Ms. C. is such a great cook. Anything, we needed they shopped and cooked and prepared in such a nutritious way. We felt pampered.There were 2 other staff "R" and "K" were at our beck and call. Thank you for such a great vacation. We had a wonderful time and we enjoyed the place.The rooms were beautiful, the atmosphere was beautiful. We had nothing to complain about.

This is one of the best experiences we have had and we are very seasoned travelers. Elsewhere is like a private all inclusive. From Kasandra’s amazing cooking and activity management to Rafic and Kennrick making sure you are well taken care of through the day and Maureen keeping everything very clean and tidy. Like others have said don’t waste your time at restaurants Kasandras cooking is amazing. The house is very quiet, beds super comfortable and the outside lounge area is so relaxing. The kids lived in the pool for the week, we made use of the kayaks and paddle boards every day. You can swim in the sea at the property but need to go out further for good snorkeling. We absolutely loved not having to get ready to go to eat anywhere and just had to get out of the pool and make your way to the table.

Very relaxing and enjoyable!

Home was beautiful with excellent accommodations for our group of nine. Staff was great. Rafic, Kasandra and Maureen all took great care of us during our stay. The food was incredible with a good variety for everyone. Sarah made sure to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and arranged our sunset cruise and other boating outing. Highly recommend staying at Elsewhere by the Sea!

The PERFECT week long get away!

Staying at Elsewhere is the one place where everyone gets to really relax! Kassandra makes sure you are never hungry, Rafik concocts the right cocktail for each occasion and Maurine keeps everything sparkling clean. I can't recommend a better vacation spot to relax and step away from everyday life. This was my first time being back after Hurricane Melissa and I was a little worried about what would be available but the house is still in pristine condition, all excursions were still open and the people were as excited as ever to show you a fun time in Jamaica! Thank you to the Elsewhere staff and everyone who made this trip another unforgettable experience!

Amazing...again

This was our second stay here, and I’m usually hesitant to return to the same place twice, as it often doesn’t live up to the first experience. That was absolutely not the case this time. Once again, the house, the staff, and the food exceeded every expectation. Kassandra’s cooking is simply incredible—so much so that no one ever wants to leave the house to dine elsewhere. Rafic was attentive and endlessly talented behind the bar, able to mix any cocktail we asked for. His recommendations quickly became our favorites. Maureen was amazingly efficient—like a ninja. You never heard her moving around, yet your room was always spotless and laundry magically done. I truly can’t say enough about this exceptional property. An unforgettable experience, once again.

Amazing stay

Wonderful stay at this house. Staff was amazing, food was delicious and bartenders made tasty drinks! Grounds were well maintained and kayaks were a nice way to start each morning. We will definitely be back!

Incredible stay!

Incredible week in paradise. Amazing food from Kassandra the chef, and friendly and attentive staff. The home is well maintained, and there are plenty of activities for kids with the beach, pool, and access to the boat. I would recommend this home to anyone!

Amazing hospitality

Everything was perfect - the staff were extremely welcoming and accomodating, the neighbourhood was very safe and secure and the house was wonderful. Our toddler loved feeding fish from the dock and looking for starfish. The food was out of this world !

Relaxing and Fun Family Vacation!

Our stay in Jamaica was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the rooms. The food was exceptional. The location itself was perfect, providing us with breathtaking views and a serene environment. Half of our party visited 6 years ago, and we cannot wait to reserve our next stay hopefully sooner than later!

Wonderful Family Vacation

My family and I recently spent my wife’s birthday at Elsewhere. It was our third time visiting and it was absolutely wonderful! The only negative thing was we learned that Ms. Dolores had retired. She was a very hard working and caring person that made sure everything was in order and everyone was comfortable. The team at Elsewhere is just awesome!! They made my family’s experience totally wonderful!! We will definitely be back again.
