The yurt itself was fantastic. Everything you could possibly need for a short, secluded getaway is included, and the property manager was fantastic, providing easy directions to get to a location that otherwise doesn't show up on GPS.
Jewel the dog was a nice touch, but be aware that she basically lives with you on your trip. She was well-behaved and was a cuddling lover, but just be aware that she actually camps out for the night on the chair just outside of your yurt. There was no way to seemingly get her to go away when I wanted to be left alone to read a book.
At 4 a.m., she started howling for some reason and didn't stop until after 6 a.m. on my final day. It made for a restless night for sure.
It's a 5-star yurt and a 5-star experience, though minus one star for Jewel's 4 a.m. outburst, though it's no fault of her own. If you're a dog lover, you're going to love this experience.
