We visited my daughter and granddaughter for Christmas. When we walked into the Juniper House it instantly felt like home. Upon entering there was a Christmas Tree set up, snacks on the huge kitchen counter for a movie night, red and cream colored bedding on all of the super comfortable beds, bikes to ride around a quiet picturesque area, and was the cleanest rental I have ever been in. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there as this was a beautiful home and a magical holiday in Fruita! Thank you for the attention to detail and priceless memories! We will absolutely be back!

Spacious home

The house is located in a nice and quiet area a 3-4 minute drive from downtown Fruita. It was clean and spacious with enough beds to accomodate all 7 of us. The couches and beds were comfortable. My kids loved the bikes. I strongly recommend this house to anyone with a large group.

We visit Fruita once or twice a year and love to stay at the rentals managed by Kristy and Mike. This property worked well for 2 adult couples and our dogs. Comfortable large king suite, small queen room, well equipped spacious kitchen, and plenty of living room seating. Dining room seats 4-6 comfortably.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this property and will continue to use it every time we are in fruita. The house is spacious with plenty of room to relax and the backyard along with the patio table make it perfect for a cook out at night. If you are going to fruita, this is a perfect place to stay.

Just what we were looking for.

This place was perfect. We had four adults and three children sleep comfortably in this house. We were extremely happy that our dogs were allowed to tag along for our vacation. We greatly appreciated the fully fenced in backyard. The beds were super comfy and the neighborhood was very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

This property was just perfect for our needs! The house was large and roomy and very comfortable. Many little touches, such as laundry detergent, spices, plenty of kitchen utensils, etc. made it such a pleasant stay. The fenced in back yard was great for little ones to play in. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and handy to Fruita. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay in again some day! Thanks for everything!

We loved our stay here! The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The yard was fantastic and well maintained with great amenities! It ended up being a better location than we expected, we thought we wanted to stay in Palisade but realized this was a much better location in the midst of our activities. We were so close to horseback riding, rafting and the Colorado national monument. We loved visiting Grand Junction for a little shopping and lots of good restaurants. We did spend a few days in the Palisades visiting the wineries and picking peaches etc., also an easy drive! We hope to be back this is one of our favorite VRBO homes they did not miss a thing and were willing to go the extra mile to make us happy!

Wonderful Home! This was our first time at a VRBO and it was great!

I would highly recommend this property to others planning on being in the Fruita area! We were there for a 4 day holiday weekend! There were 6 adults, 3 children, 2dogs and the accommodations were perfect! We were able to utilize a hide-a-bed in the den that worked for the kids! We had plenty of room and did not feel like we were cramped! The kids enjoyed all the games that were provided! We biked, hiked, visited downtown Fruita, hit a few brewery's and had a wonderful visit with family! We prepared all of our breakfast in house and the kitchen accommodations are great! The gas fireplace was a added bonus for the chilly mornings! The only description I would question is the dog door! When exiting from the house there is about a 1 1/2- 2 foot drop that could be dangerous to a dog! We decided to leave the security panel in and not use this feature! My daughter-in-law loved this place and is already planning a girls retreat weekend! She is hoping it will be available!

The location of the house was perfect. Close to down town but far enough for a quite night. The house was perfect for my family of four. Very spacious but close together to have family fun. I would recommend this location to any one who wants a perfect vacation home.

Very Nice home, but all bedrooms are upstairs

It is a very nice home, but unless I missed it, no where does it state that ALL three bedrooms are upstairs, it shows the one bedroom across from the top of stairs, but the rest all don't show a staircase. the problem was my 89 year old dad had a little bit of problem going up and down stairs, my sister as well with bad knees. the beds could be updated, and the dog door would have been perfect, if there wasn't such along drop going through it to patio.

Why they chose this property

We like the location because of the quiet neighborhood and great private backyard. The kitchen is huge and wonderful for cooking big meals with friends. We love to use the the bike path that runs right next to the home. The interior of the home is a 2 story to add to the privacy of the bedrooms. The Master Bedroom/Bathroom is enormous. The kitchen flows to the living, dining and patio areas nicely. The outdoor patio faces south with a pergola which is great for sitting and relaxing on hot afternoons.
