About this property

Cabin/Cottage on the South Branch of the Pere Marquette River!

Located just 15 minutes west of Baldwin and 25 minutes east of Ludington. Sleeps up to 6 adults with 1 queen bed and 4 twin beds. The cabin/cottage is very bright, cheery and spacious so ladies you will love it too. There are 2 fire pits and we have firewood available onsite at no charge. We also provide a full size charcoal grill with charcoal and a full size gas grill with propane. There is a 2 stall garage and a brand new large deck facing the river with plenty of seating and a fire table. In addition to the cabin being on the river you are situated across the road from 80 acres of federal land that contains additional winding river frontage for you to explore. If it's a rainy day and you want to stay inside we also carry a large selection of movies (over 300) and board games. There is something for everyone just pack your clothes, groceries and outdoor toys and get ready to relax and explore. Cell service is very limited at the cabin and there is no WiFi. Guest appreciate being able to detach from technology.

This is the perfect place to unplug and unwind! The views of the river are spectacular. It is where we spent the bulk of our time. The back deck was very inviting. We really enjoyed our quiet stay!

A beautiful, cozy cabin surrounded by nature and peace. Exactly the getaway our family needed. The river, fire pit, and quiet surroundings made it easy to relax and disconnect. Clean, welcoming, and included everything we needed—you can bring your own food and enjoy your whole stay without needing to leave. And if you pay attention, you may even spot hummingbirds visiting. We truly loved it!

Check in process and cleanliness were great. No complaints. This cabin was perfect for our dirtbike trip. Close to trails so we could ride from the cabin. Enough parking for a few vehicles and small trailers. The garage was awesome for hanging out and storing our toys inside at night out of the weather. We loved hopping in the river in the mornings for a cold plunge to wake us up. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere and quiet neighborhood. There is no WiFi, which is nice, but prepare yourself for that. We will definitely be back. This property has such a nice layout, it makes you not want to leave.Bar/restaurant is about 2-3 miles down the road to the south, and it has a 1 pump gas pump for your toys also.

We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We also used the charcoal grill and the fire pit down by the river. The movie selection was outstanding. No cell service, which was great!The outdoor space was excellent. Most of our time was on the back patio or in the river fishing. We saw lots of fish. They just didn’t see us. Some fun watering holes in the area. Ludington was only a 25 minute drive. Great downtown. Sanders is a wonderful butcher shop, as well as Ludington Meat and butcher shop. Nice breweries. Large grocery store. Baldwin Bate shop was very helpful. The communication was flawless with Erika. Will definitely try to get back soon.
