'The view' Nice and lovely Florence apartment (90 sqm) is situated on the 3th floor (no lift) of an old Florentine building in the historical centre. The Duomo square and the most important museums, galleries are a short walking distance away.

The 20 sqm large terrace offers a spectacular view of the monuments (Duomo, the bell tower of Giotto, Sinagoga).

The terrace furnished with table and chairs for tasting an open air breakfast on a sunny morning. It is a very bright and quiet apartment Near to the apartment there are man typical restaurants, cafes, pizzerie, craft shops, a this area permits to fully enjoy the every day life of the historical centre of florence.

ACCOMMODATION:

It's composed of an entrance, a living/dining room, kitchen, 2 double bedrooms with double beds and one bathroom. A staircase leads to the open gallery with one single bed and the second bathroom with shower.

(There are a single bed and another bathroom in the loft which is accessible with a ladder).

Great location! Walking distance to the center of things including the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. The apartment was perfect for our stay…loved the rooftop view of the Duomo. It should be noted that this apartment is on the 4th floor up 60 steps. Other than really uncomfortable pillows, a perfect place to stay.

The terrace was beautiful! We had a wonderful time. The only part that was hard for me was the walk up. I have bad knees But the place had plenty of room and the owner was wonderful! He met is on arrival answered any questions and if I had any questions it was a fast response

Florence Getaway

The location of the property is excellent. We walked to every place we wanted to go. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was amazing, but it was too hot to go out in the middle of the day. The evening was beautiful.

Great apartment in a lovely location

Our family of five had a great stay here. Everything went well: communication was easy, apartment was clean and warm. The location is great - so easy to access the tourist area - but the neighborhood is also very nice - with great markets, cafes and restaurants just minutes away. I'd stay here again.

Absolutely charming apartment. Hosts were wonderful! Walking distance from everything but be prepared to walk a lot. The stairs were steeper than we were expecting and it was hard to get luggage up! But our host was kind enough to help take our heavy bags up! They do have A/C but it is really not strong enough for the terrible summer heat! The views alone & the wonderful treatment made it all worthwhile!

Beautiful views , great location

Great property in nice Florence neighborhood. Just met us for check in and was very gracious with his time at check in making sure we had everything and making local recommendations. Lotsa stairs to lug up stairs but he even helped with that! The only negative was the all night long noise from a nearby piazza where ther must have been a rave happening (happened both nights we stayed ). Great host.and unbeatable location !

Beautiful Views with a great location

We loved the location of this property being close to all the main attractions and enjoyed the view from the balcony overlooking the Duomo. He also gave us a lot of information about the city when we arrived and took his advice for a large majority of our meals and each one was amazing.

Rooftop makes for memorable stay in Florence

Overall a good experience. Lots of stairs to get to apartment and steep stairs inside to access rooftop patio & 2nd bathroom, but the rooftop views (including lots of chirpy swallows) make it worthwhile. Emanuele is helpful and responsive host. Need to bring your own shampoo and soap for shower, which was a bit tight, but lots of hot water and good pressure. Beds comfy and separate AC in each room.

We loved the apartment, has a great view from its terrace. It does not have an elevator, so for people who cannot climb stairs it could be an issue. The host was great and assisted with our luggage.

Wonderful place!

Our family stayed here while in Florence and it was just perfect! Lots of rooms with beautiful furnishings. The kitchen was well-stocked. The rooftop patio with views of Duomo was amazing! Convenient location - near coffee Shops, market and museums. The host was ver helpful as well. We loved our stay in Florence!

Property was not as described. It was described as "luxury", it should have said "budget". There was a broken window, leaking air conditioner, water dripping from ceiling to floor, one shower shutting off while in use, one bathroom ceiling was peeling, no box spring on a mattress, no privacy curtains in one bedroom. Broken soap drawer in washer. Rooms were quite small and photos misleading.

Excellent location

The apartment was just what we needed for our family of four. It was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location to explore the city. We were able to walk to every major site. Really enjoyed the stay in the flat at Florence. The flat was very nicely cared for and our host, Emanuele met us at the flat when we arrived. He took the time to show us how everything worked and also helped us with great restaurants in the area. Really enjoyed it and would recommend it!

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was very pretty, spacious and comfortable. My 17 year old son enjoyed having his own space up in the loft area. It was great location to walk to the Duomo, shops and restaurants. Emanuele was very easy to communicate with and very helpful at check-in.

Florence apartment

Terrific location in a great, non-touristy neighborhood that nevertheless was close to some great sights and restaurants. Apartment overall was clean and comfortable, though the heat was intermittent. (We were there in winter.). Beds very comfortable. The manager was helpful and responsive. We would stay again.

Utilities extra cost

We were surprised to learn that in addition to our payment for our stay we also were asked to pay an extra daily charge for utilities. It's my opinion that this should have been included in the listed price for this Vrbo. Otherwise we really enjoyed our apartment on the fifth floor of building which had a beautiful view of the Duomo

Charmed by the terrace

Good location within walking distance to key sights. Host provided excellent map with suggestions and even carried one of our bags up the stairs. (Thank you, Emanuele!) The stairs to top floor were manageable, but might be a challenge for some. The terrace was a delightful spot to eat, enjoy a cup of coffee, glass of wine or just appreciate the view. Clean and comfortable rooms. Enjoyed our time there.
