The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please return the kayaks, paddle boards, paddles, paddle boat and cornhole.
Gather all used towels and hang on sink next to washer in the garage. Take all trash from the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen and place in the trash cans outside.
Turn the ACs to 73. Assure all lights are turned off and all doors are locked. Return the key to the lockbox on the porch.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Outdoor Quiet Hours 11pm - 8am (no loud music and activities outside during these hours)
Must provide a copy of a valid drivers license prior to arrival to gain the door access code.

The house is perfect for a family reunion. It is large, comfortable and located on a point of land with a view of the beautiful sunsets. The Tucci's are extremely accomodating and quick to respond to any reasonable requests. I highly recommend this property for a restful and entertaining getaway!

Wonderful Lake House!

This is a terrific property on Lake Murray! We had extended family for USC graduation, and really enjoyed the house. The kitchen had everything you could ever need, the beds were comfortable, everything was super clean. I would note that we didn’t notice the 2nd bedroom upstairs doesn’t have its own bathroom- but we made it work. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and toured the lake, which I highly recommend! Thanks for a very memorable weekend!!

Fabulous Lakehouse and owners

Everything was just perfect for our son’s graduation weekend from USC! Very spacious home with so many areas to relax and enjoy the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and it was very easy to dock at the property. Memories for a lifetime and we would love to come back sometime soon! The South Carolina Gamecock decor throughout the home was an added surprise that everyone loved! Thank you Tami😘

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Some family couldn’t come so that was disappointing. We had our elderly mom with us (93) so getting around was difficult. The house was clean on inside but definitely could use pressure washing and some upkeep especially screen porch. Soap for showers could have been provided and more paper towels. Overall, we had a nice stay and it was comfortable.

One of the best vacations ever!

If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have. Perfect VRBO for getting away, relaxing and enjoying God's creation! Both Sunrises and Sunsets over the water right from your front and side porches. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Lots of little get away spots to enjoy some quiet time, but also, a great place for gathering together and enjoying meals, games and fellowship. I hope that some day we can return. Thank you Tammy and Matt for sharing this awesome place.

We enjoyed our stay at the lake! The house is as described. It is a true family house with spectacular views and outdoor space. It does not feel like a five-star resort, but I do not mean that negatively. The screen porch and gazebo are lovely. The kitchen is adequate -- coffee pot needed help but the Keurig works fine. The sunsets were just incredible. It's an easy drive to Publix, a bit farther to Starbucks, and Columbia is a bit of a hike. We enjoyed the big cozy living room with enough space for several adults to lounge; nice flat yard for a lowcountry boil and space for the kids to sidewalk-chalk; wanted to enjoy the fire pit but it was a bit windy/chilly.

Nice home located directly on beautiful point on Lake Murray SC. Perfect for 3 couples as it has 3 full baths. One of the 4 bedrooms has double bed, good for children. Loft apartment is cozy however acesss through garage and one of the other bedrooms is slightly awkward. Owners are extrememly helpful and very accomodating. House is very nice albeit a little dated. Large kitchen and comfortable living spaces.

Great view of the lake. However the blinds are in such poor condition we could not get them all up. Not enough flatware to serve 10 and it is in really poor condition. Had to buy plastics for dinner. Tubs are not ones we would take a bath. Towels worn out. Couches in house were nice. Chair at counter not stable. Couch on screen porch dirty and old. Loved the view. Sad to say we won’t go back to this place.

Lake Murray Rental

We had a wonderful weekend at this home. It is perfectly located on a point with a large porch, gazebo, and yard right on the water. You can see the water from almost every window in the house! It was my daughters 21st b'day so she had a few friends from college stay with us and there was plenty of room. It does need a bit of TLC as things are starting to wear and the master shower is disappointing and needs to be redone. It would be nice to have comfortable outdoor lounge furniture so you could relax out on the lawn. There seems to be a rather strict "no parties" rule. We were sitting in the gazebo playing cards at 11:00 pm, talking, laughing, etc. and the neighbors called the owners complaining of too much noise. Overall a wonderful trip!

Why they chose this property

I was blessed enough to grow up playing in the tranquil waters of Lake Murray and always dreamed of one day owning a home on the lake. I passed this love onto my husband. This home is our dream home and we are delighted to share it with you.

What makes this property unique

This home is located at the end of an island with a 'big' water view of Lake Murray sunrises and sunsets. Its' iron fence adorned with a Gamecock is just one of the many features of University of South Carolina memorabilia in the home.
