Serendipity at Cove Pointe - 400 feet of private Lake frontage on Big Creek

This 3000 square foot home sits on 2 lots in the prestigious Cove Pointe subdivision. There are 5 bedrooms and 3 baths and a large open concept living area. There is a large wrap around deck with impressive views of the Big Creek area of the lake. The house faces west so you will see some of the most stunning sunsets that Norris can offer.


The house offers 1 queen bed, 3 king beds, and 2 set of bunk beds for the kids. Linens and pillows are provided. There are 3 flat screen TV’s: one in the Master suite, one on the main level, and one in the bunk room. Each TV has a DVD player attached and there are plenty of DVD’s for you to use on those days when you just want to relax and watch a movie. Starlink high speed internet is provided.

The house is fully stocked with dishes, silver ware, and cooking utensils. In addition there are the usual items, including a toaster, coffee maker, blender, and microwave. On the main house deck you will find a gas grill for your outdoor cooking needs. The house also has 2 refrigerators, one in the kitchen and the other in the pantry off the kitchen. The fridge in the kitchen has an Ice maker but there are also lots of ice trays to make more. Trash pickup is Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you don't check out on one of those days your remaining trash will be handled by the cleaning crew at the end of your stay so there is no need to haul it out yourself!

A few steps down from the house brings you to the fire pit where you can enjoy the end of the day by watching the sun drift behind the Cross Mountains and reminisce about the day’s activities out on the water.

There is a owners house on the property just down from the fire pit (not occupied during rental reason). It has 2 more decks for you to enjoy some leisure time closer to the lake.

This property features over 400 feet of lake frontage. The dock has 1 covered slip for your boat or pontoon, a diving board for the kids, and 2 jet ports. There is room for 2 boats and 2 wave runners. The dock has power, a mini fridge, and lights to do that all important prep work for next day’s activities.

An unusual bonus is the cell phone service at the house and down at the dock. It is decent for Verizon and AT&T. T Mobile and Sprint not so good.

This is the second time we have stayed here and truly had another wonderful experience. Great location and great setup with house and dock as we brought 2 boats and had plenty of room for trailers and vehicles. Happy Get Away

Our family (Us, our Daughter's Family, and our Son's Family) loved our stay at Serendipity! The bedroom setup was perfect for us, our children, and the 6 Grands! The kids loved hanging out in the bunk room to play and watch TV on their own, the adults enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck and a kitchen that held everything we needed! The dock was superb....we fished, swam, enjoyed the diving board, and even took canoe rides around the cove! There was plenty of room for the pontoon we rented and the kids loved tubing and learning how to water ski! We had a wonderful vacation...thanks so much, Michael!

The house and location are great and the upgraded food storage space, extra fridge and two dryers were much appreciated! The house is located close to several marinas, just inside a quiet cove. This was our fourth stay and we enjoyed it as much as always!

This property was just as advertised. I booked this house based solely on the reviews. It was clean which was priority to me. Great communication with the owner. Had all the necessary items in the kitchen. Couple of things that could improve the stay would be to provide bath towels/wash rags. There are three levels but only one thermostat, so the bottom level stayed cold but the upper level stayed a little too warm. There was a ceiling fan so that helped a lot. Also the master mattress is extremely firm. None of these took away from our weekend but good to note for other guests. Overall had a great time.

Great Location

We had a great time on the lake during our family vacation. The house was nice, plenty of room on the dock, and the drive-thru area next to the driveway had plenty of room for our boat trailers and cars as well. We plan to rent it again as soon as we can get back down there.

Family Trip

This property is wonderful for a large family. The listing was accurate and the house was clean. There was very limited cell service, but it was not an issue for us at all. The property owner was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and recommended a great marina for boat rental nearby.

I have always loved Norris Lake and have been coming here for over 20 year. I had been looking for a home here for over 4 years and fell in love with this home as soon as I saw it. I had the privacy I was looking for and I wanted to have a place that faced west to enjoy the stunning Norris lake sunsets. I think you will enjoy your time here as much as our family has and make memories that will last a lifetime.

My name is Serendipity on Cove Pointe.
Life is sweet again because I finally have an owner who is taking care of me. He has promised to bring me back to life again, but it will take time and patience.
You see, when I was built in 1995 I had an older brother who was the only dwelling on my property for years. He was built in 1984 and had fought many storms, but is still strong and worthy of providing shelter.
Many years of patching on his roof and in his interior has kept him going with so many band-aids that he almost went to wrack and ruin. But now our new owner is carefully planning his reemergence into greatness again. It will be a process which will take a little time and patience. But wait until he is finished! Wow, what a sight he will be again. He will be named Little Dipity.
As for me, my new owner named me Serendipity on Cove Pointe because on a lovely fall day, he was surprised when he just happened to drive by me and saw the beauty of my property and the breathtaking view of the lake that I provide.
Sadly, It was so neglected that things didn’t look so good, both inside and out. Others who looked at me walked away in dismay because of all the repairs that had to be made, but my owner saw my potential and he decided to take on the challenge to bring me back to my beautiful self again. Happiness will fill my walls once again.
I am strong and I can still take care of my inhabitants, but I need patching and painting and cleaning and dusting and washing and shining until I am once again the beauty I once was.
