2 hours from the Mediterranean coast between the Northern Alps and Provence, in the heart of the Alps on the sun side, you enter the area of Montclar, mountain village on a human scale.
It is in a hilly landscape which is said to be a corner of Switzerland lost under the sky of Provence, nestled at the foot of Dormillouse [2500m], draped in a forest of deciduous and coniferous trees and on the two slopes of which are spread out the two ski areas that you will find the Montclar station, with the aspect at the same time harmonious and typically mountainous.

In the heart of the resort, the “les petits loups” day nursery nursery welcomes your children from 6 months to 6 years old.

GAVROCHE CLUB
The Gavroche club welcomes your children from 6 to 12 years old by reservation (reception point at the resort). Large outdoor games, indoor manual activities, walks.
In partnership with the Ski School, the Club Gavroche offers you reading with the ski lessons:
Club leaders bring your children to their ski lessons and pick them up while you take full advantage of our ski area.

SKI AREA IMPROVEMENT

Installation of a new detachable 6-seater chairlift that connects the base of the station (1350 m) to the top of the plateau (2350 m) in just 8 minutes.
To improve your skiing conditions, the resort extends its network of artificial snow to the Chau plateau at 2000 m.
It will now be possible to descend from the top of the plateau to the station on a completely artificial snow-covered run.
Two collinear reservoirs have also been created in order to retain water and supply the artificial snow network.

ARTIFICIAL RINK WITH OPEN SKY.
In the heart of the resort, for a moment of relaxation with family or friends.

Group lessons
Our instructors welcome you to St Jean / Montclar in group lessons. Pedagogy and technique for learning alpine skiing in a serious and fun atmosphere. (5 years and +, from beginner to competition) from Sunday to Friday (6d x 2h)

Private lessons
An instructor at your entire disposal to guide you, share your passion with you, and help you progress at your own pace thanks to personalized advice that meets your objectives. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Piou-Piou club (from 3 to 5 years old) for the first steps of your toddlers, the ESF offers 2 hours of lessons suitable for toddlers. So that you can enjoy your day, we can drop your child off at the crèche after the lesson.

Snowboard lessons
Group and private lessons, from reception class to class 3.

Handiski
we have qualified instructors and suitable equipment to introduce people with disabilities to skiing.

2 or 3 hour snowshoe outings

Torchlight descents
every Thursday during the school holidays, free registration at the ESF, followed by the lantern descent for children.
