About this property

Spacious townhouse for 8 with stunning sea views

This luxurious holiday home with a surface area of ​​over 200 m2 located next to the golf course of Vale de Milho and within walking distance of several restaurants and Centeanes beach. The charming and authentic Portuguese city of Carvoeiro, with many nice restaurants, shops and bars is a 5-minute drive away. Slightly further away lie the beaches of the beautiful villages of Ferragudo and Alvor.

The house has three bedrooms (with a total of 8 beds) and three bathrooms (two with bath) and is tastefully decorated. It is equipped with air conditioning and underfloor heating throughout the house, a big-screen TV with DVD player, a sound system and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped including oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker. Washer and dryer are also provided.

Quietly located in a park of 10 terraced houses, the building has two floors. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms (with two and four beds and adjoining bathrooms) and on the first floor to the third bedroom (with two beds, ensuite bathroom and private terrace), living room and kitchen. The large terrace is located on the first floor and has a beautiful view of the shared pool, the golf course and the ocean. On the ground floor you have access to the (common) garden while, also on the roof terrace can be enjoyed the view.

Family holiday

Would highly recommend staying in this property, it is spotless inside and out, great location not far from Carvoeiro centre and the beach. Great communication from the hosts with easy check in.

Cozy and comfortable stay

The place was stacked with all the amenities. The rooms are big and spacious. It’s a beautiful view of the pool and the distant sea. We had a very relaxed and pleasant one week stay there.

Lovely Family Break

Thank you for sharing your lovely holiday home with us. It was clean, well equipped and felt very homey. Great location to travel into town, and only 20-30mins from other towns (need a car).

Beautiful Villa

A wonderful week in this beautiful villa in a very peaceful location with easy access to carvoeiro. We love this area so close to stunning beaches. First visit to Lagoa festival of light as recommended by the villa manager was very special. Will definitely be back.

DELIGHTFUL!

We had a delightful time staying at Casa dos Escudeiros. We used the villa as home base as we explored the Algarve, traveling from Sagres to Tavira, visiting a different city every day. The villa more than accommodated two couples very comfortably. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will cherish the memories we made in Carvoeiro. I would highly recommend this villa.

Amazing place to stay

What an amazing place, we had a lovely holiday here, the place was spotless and it had everything we needed, even Yahtzee! The pool area was lovely with very well kept gardens and we had it to ourselves a lot of the time. The location is great, near to many of the beautiful local beaches as well as the supermarket and the local town square with many cafes and bars. A great time had by all and thank you to Emma who helped us find the house after we got a bit lost! Definitely recommend!

I could not have asked for a cleaner more comfortable property that had all the comforts of home. The grounds were beautiful and we used the deck almost daily. The layout of the house allows plenty of privacy and Emma the manager was always prompt and available to attend to our needs. I highly recommend this as a home base in the Algarve.

Thank you to Oscar and family. We stayed for 2 fabulous weeks. The house was so much better than the photos. Very spacious and comfortable. The pool was fantastic and most days we had it to ourselves. We visited some of the restaurants that were recommended and they did not disappoint. Thank you to Ana. We arrived very late on the first night and got a bit lost but she came to the rescue. It was a great addition to have the welcome pack of wine,beers, bread etc. I would have no hesitation returning again or recommending to others.

Fantastisch verblijf gehad in deze zeer ruime, royale woning, die voorzien is van alles dat je je kunt wensen. Daarbij opgeteld ligt de woning op een zeer gunstige locatie t.o.v. winkels, restaurants, steden, dorpjes, stranden in diverse baaitjes, diverse mooie golfbanen etc.Tel daarbij op dat de temperatuur aan de kust vanwege de zeewind ideaal is en je vakantie is geslaagd!

Het was een meer dan mooie woning waar we terecht kwamen. Super locatie met fantastisch zwembad!

Ons verblijf van twee weken was meer dan fantastisch. Een groot en ruim huis met alles erop en eraan. We waren met 6 volwassenen en 2 kinderen en hebben ons geweldig vermaakt. Het zwembad was ook voor de kleintjes uitermate geschikt en zij hebben er volop van genoten. Een echte aanrader vlakbij mooie stranden en stadjes waar we heerlijk hebben gegeten. De vertegenwoordiger van de eigenaar (Emma) was zeer vriendelijk en altijd beschikbaar. We komen er zeker terug.

Magnifique villa!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison d’Oscar. Très spacieuse, joliment décorée, idéalement située, à 8 min de la Praia Vale de Centianes, qui s’avère être aussi le point de départ de la randonnée des 7 Vallées, et à 5 min de voiture de la magnifique Praia de Carvoeiro. Un grand merci à Mike pour l’accueil! N’ayez aucune hésitation, cette maison est incroyable, elle fait partie de notre top 3 des maisons louées jusqu’à présent! Je la recommande mille fois.

Erholung pur

Wunderschönes Haus, toll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Die drei Schlafzimmer haben alles ein eigenes Bad, es ist genug Platz. Die Anlage ist sehr ruhig und der Blick von der Terrasse auf die Umgebung bis zum Meer ist unglaublich. Die Kommunikation vor Ort war schnell und unkompliziert. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es einiges zu entdecken. Der nächstgelegene Strand ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar, sehr schön und hat ein kleines Restaurant mit leckerem frischen Fisch. Jederzeit wieder! Danke!

Family holiday

We chose this property because the terrace and living area was separate from the pool, which I considered a safe layout for our young children who can't yet swim. The villa is very nicely furnished, spacious, clean and has nice views across the golf course. The gardens are nicely maintained and felt secure, the pool is cleaned regularly. The villa is not far from the little to town but for me a car would be essential. There is a small swingset and slide for young children at the apartment. Check in/ out was really straightforward to

Wir sind begeistert!

Bereits zum zweiten Mal durften wir unseren Urlaub in Oscars und Marjons wunderbaren Haus verbringen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt und sauber. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt: eine schöne, grosse Terrasse mit einem tollen Ausblick und einem grossen Tisch, an welchem 8 Personen bequem Platz haben. Eine Markise und Sonnenschirme sorgen bei Bedarf für Sonnenschutz. Ein Gasgrill ist vorhanden. Die Gartenanlage und der Pool sind ebengalls sehr gepflegt und ansprechend. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, es gibt einen Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Der Strand ist in laufnähe. Ein Fitnessraum in der Anlage vorhanden.... Vielen Dank an Oscar und Marjon, dass wir unseren Urlaub im Casa dos Escudeiros verbringen durften. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke auch an Emma, die uns so nett vor Ort betreut hat.

Wonderful spacious house with a great view

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful spacious house in early October. Weather was still nice and warm and it was just a short 10min walk to the beach which we enjoyed for swimming. Several restaurants are close by so that you can either walk at night or reach them in a short drive, The house is ideal for a larger family or a family with grandparents with 3 bedrooms on two different floors. We enjoyed the lovely decorated rooms and everything was nice and tidy when we arrived. In particular, we enjoyed the large terrace for an extended breakfast when the kids already spent some time in the pool (although a bit cool at this time of the year), Great vacatation and certainly considering to come again.

Amazing home 5star all the way

I have stayed in a number of holiday rentals over the years and this house is at the top of the list. From the time of booking Oscar made the booking process easy. On arrival we were able to drop our suitcases and bags and walk to a local restaurant to eat lunch. The cleaners who were in the property were very friendly and said no problem. The photographs of the property don’t show how large it actually is. There was space for the three generations to not feel cramped. Oscar and his family have thought of everything that you may need and more! The decor and home furnishings were beautiful. I was unsure when booking how an upside down house would suit us. I needn’t have worried. My daughter, son in law and two grandchildren Harry 6 and Chloe 2 slept downstairs and we were upstairs. Although the little one did wake occasionally in the night, we never heard a thing! We loved the pool area and pretty well tended gardens. We met other very friendly holiday makers. Some mornings we had the pool to ourselves and then other days people to chat to. An excellent mix. We stayed here for three weeks and had hot weather with blue skies everyday. The laundry room ment I didn’t bring home any washing! We had a nice surprise when finding the garage had been converted into a beautiful lounge area . The children used it as a playroom during the day when we were downstairs. We will return. 😊
