Upscale accommodations with a water view from all the main living areas! This is not a "lake front" property. The owner lives on the parcel at the lake front. However you'll enjoy the view and huge deck and there are several local area access points to kayak, paddleboard or jetski on the lake. Ask and we can provide more info! Great room includes new stacked-stone fireplace that changes colors at the click of a button--sooo cool! Big 55' screen TV and comfortable Pottery Barn furnishings. Chef caliber GE Cafe appliances in an all new kitchen. Hand cut travertine stone throughout the master bath with a luxurious deep soaking tub. Whether you are visiting family in the area, working on contract in Seattle or Bellevue or just looking to get acquainted and visit the sites, this home offers quiet, centrally located accommodations.

1) New 700 sf deck has been completed at last!
2) House is 60 feet from the East Lake Sammamish Trail that navigates the lakefront. Great for walking, biking. Can walk to the boat launch or local Pizza Pub & convenience store is a 5 min. walk. Or 25 min walk to Issaquah.
3) Access to Lake Sammamish via several spots: State Sammamish boat launch is 1 mile south. Lake Sammamish State Park is 2 miles south. Sammamish Landings Waterfront Park/day dock is about 5 mins. drive north.
4) Pine Lake Park is another popular swimming area, 2 miles east of the house.

Lovely! Amenities were as expected. Lake view from deck is very nice. We saw Osprey and other area birds. There is a walking trail right off he driveway. Fred Meyer is close by and there several local yummy eateries. For us, the pillows were too big/fluffy and the queen bed was way too soft for us. But others might really like that! Overall, we would definitely recommend and we would stay there again

Great place for a family to enjoy outdoor activities at and around Lake Sammamish. Close to Issaquah, Redmond, Bellevue. Plenty of space to enjoy family time, including dining on the deck. Beds are comfortable. While it was quite hot when we were in the area, the a/c worked great - no issues and we were comfortable during our stay. Host is welcoming and responsive. She provided us with great recommendations for the area, including how to access the lake. Kitchen is well stocked. Linens, towels, and bathroom amenities, including toiletries. We travel with our own coffee, therefore, I didn’t explore the options available. I did notice a coffee maker and a one-cup machine.

Perfect Location

This was a wonderful place to stay with the perfect location - close to walking paths, shopping, restaurants. It was very well decorated, equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay and it had an incredible outdoor entertaining space. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a gorgeous, well appointed apartment, enhanced by spotless cleanliness and a huge deck with spectacular lake and wooded hill views.We would stay here again for any trip to the Seattle area. It’s located about 30 minutes to downtown Seattle and the SEA-TAC airport.

We were all very impressed with The Boathouse rental. Lovely views, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a great location! The home even had great sound proofing, very quiet! The owner was very nice and had lots of great advice about the surrounding area. The soaking tub and walking trail right out front were a real plus. Thank you Lisa!

Owners have lived in the area since 1994 and have remodeled several houses and offer 4 on the eastside plus Maui, Alaska and Whistler Canada homes for rent. This diamond-in-the-rough estate property offered 2 homes and a chance to bring them from 1980's 'chic' into the 21st century with just a hint of nautical kitsch.

Why they chose this property

This combination boathouse/lake view home sits behind a larger lakefront home on a 1/2 acre lot. The 2 homes are eparated by hedges and a large garden area so guests have complete privacy. Listed in vrbo Bellevue (more people familiar with that area) but we are actually located on East Lake Sammamish Parkway, in the city of Sammamish at the south end, close to Issaquah. So easy access to Interstate 90.

What makes this property unique

Tons of natural light, sunsets and constantly changing sky and water colors. Eagles, falcons frequent the area. Trail that follows all along the east side of Lake Sammamish is accessible just 100 feet from guests' front door. Same trail takes you to Sammamish State Park boat launch or venture further on into Issaquah where you can grab lunch, hot coffee or ice cream.
