Steading Cottage is a peaceful retreat set in beautiful countryside just two miles from the centre of Crieff. Despite the rural tranquility, you're only minutes from the town's restaurants, cafés, pubs and shops, with excellent access to golf courses, fishing, cycling, walking and tennis.
The cottage comfortably sleeps four in two bedrooms, one with a king size bed, the other with zip and link twin beds and ensuite walk in shower room. Additionally a large family shower room.
The heart of the home is a magnificent 34-foot open-plan living and dining space. At one end, a cozy log burner creates the perfect spot for evening relaxation on the sofa and armchairs while watching the smart TV. An elegant archway opens to a bright, spacious area with high ceilings, wooden floors, additional sofa, chairs and soft rugs. French doors lead onto a generous patio and secure garden with stunning open views toward Ben Chonzie.
Our half mile drive brings you to the foot of Crieff, a bustling market town rooted in Scotland's cattle-trading past. Explore Scotland's oldest public library at nearby Innerpeffray, catch local festivals, or experience the excitement of Crieff Highland Games with traditional Highland competitions. The area offers excellent day trips: visit the formal gardens at Drummond Castle, tour and taste at Glenturret Distillery (Scotland's oldest), or head to Loch Earn for kayaking and scenic walks, Comrie Croft for mountain biking and Crieff Hydro for many activities. Neighboring villages, Comrie and Muthill provide additional golf and dining options, while world-famous Gleneagles offers premium golf, equestrian activities and clay pigeon shooting. From this central Perthshire location, you can easily reach St Andrews' historic university town and beaches, the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, or venture north into the Cairngorms and towards the dramatic Scottish Highlands through Aberfeldy and Pitlochry.

A superb Perthshire self-catering holiday property, with one double bedroom, a twin bedded room and a separate bathroom. The cottage is part of the Steading where the owners live - so they are on site for assistance or information - you will not find them intrusive. Huge attention to detail means that everything from cotton sheets, fresh flowers in the sittingroom and bedrooms and a freshly baked cake or croissants waiting to welcome you - this is a perfect central vacation retreat if you are visiting Scotland.

A superb spacious Perthshire self-catering holiday property, sleeping four guests. There is so much to do close by - outdoor pursuits, castles and gardens to visit, wildlife, hiking, cycling, golf, something for everyone and there are many restaurants and cafes close by too.
You will find fresh flowers in every room and a welcome pack of Scottish goodies waiting for you. The garden is a real sun trap and if you are keen tennis players, the owners are delighted of you to use their court which is in the grounds.

An ideal vacation retreat from which to explore and visit Scotland - Crieff is a great base for a Scottish holiday. A perfect location from which to visit Scotland and all its many tourist attractions: Drummond Castle Gardens, Glenturret Distillery and Innerpeffray Library and Chapel are within 5 minutes drive. There is a sports facility with squash courts, tennis, astro hire, badminton and a great swimming pool - walking distance from the cottage. Keen tennis players are welcome to use the owners tennis court which is within the grounds.
There are numerous Scottish golf courses within very easy reach - Comrie, Auchterarder, Muthill, Crieff, St Fillans and Gleneagles are within 15 minutes drive.
There is a choice of fishing locations - rivers and lochs and centres of culture within easy reach too.
