Enjoyed our stay. House is very cool and kids loved bunk beds and tree fort room. Hot tub was nice after long adventure days. Girdwood is a great Summer place to stay with excellent restaurants and close to Whittier and wildlife conservation center.
This is a great spot for our family. The house was clean, the rooms clean, the kitchen was well organized, and the hot tub was already hot! The host messaged and communicated incredibly well she made sure we had everything we needed.Next time we come back to girdwood, we will gladly book this spot again.
nice place. only complaint would be that the listing didn’t clarify that one full bathroom is on the first floor and one full bathroom (the smaller one) is in the hallway of the second floor near the bedrooms, no master bathroom. The deck badly needs refinishing. Hot tub was wonderful!

Photos show all bathrooms and there is nothing in the description that leads anyone to believe there is a master bathroom. We paint the deck every summer. snow, iice, rain and shoveling cause the paint to peel. This summer has been extremely rainy with the exception of two weeks of sun so finding a time to paint the deck when there are no guests has not happened yet.
Great property and host was very kind with our late departure request to accommodate a flight. The home is beautiful, and a great location. We cooked several meals and found all the cooking utensils we needed. We will rent again!!
This was a great place and Sarah is an excellent host! We had four guys for a ski trip and the place was perfect — good bedrooms, kitchen, living space and a really nice hot tub.
The host was very communicative and the place had a lot of the little things that make things easier (shampoo, conditioner, kitchen utensils, etc). The sleeping arrangements worked out well and were as described.
We had a great stay at Sarah's place. It was a good location for day trips to Whittier, Portage Lake and the Kenai River for rafting. The space was very tasteful and had a fun tree house atmosphere. The kids loved the hot tub.
This is a beautiful house, checked every box for our stay! Beautiful chalet style, with every amenity you’d ever need. The sunken hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of wondering around the local trails. Would recommend staying here (and will stay here myself again)!
