Charming apartment!

Our family loved staying in this quaint Italian apartment, very centrally located. Easy to get to train station, lots of great restaurants and the hiking trails. We would love to come back!!!

Heart of Monterosso

Property is conveniently located --easy walking distance to anything you might need. Very helpful hosts provided suggestions for places to eat, shop, etc. The flat is in a very busy area -- it can be noisy at night and in the early morning with bars and restaurants below, but that's the price of convenience!

Perfect Location

We loved this apartment! It was right across from the best patisserie in Monterossa, which we visited each morning. You could see the baker making the pastries right across the street. The apartment had the touches of a woman, which is very much appreciated. From the apartment everything was close by. We liked being in the old town. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Absolutely wonderful!

The owner, Francesca, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We love Monterosso's Old Town, and this was the perfect location to enjoy it. It was right in the heart of town and allowed us instant access to everything that we would need. The only possible inconvenience was that it could be noisy sometimes because you are so close to all of the action, but this was actually noted before we arrived. We found it to be not a problem at all. I could go on and on about how much we loved staying here, but hopefully the 5 stars and your desire to stay in the heart of the Old Town is enough to convince you.

Perfect apartment for our family of 5 in Old Town

Francesca is a wonderful host. We arrived later than expected and she was gracious and accommodating about it and made a special trip over when we had a small issue. The apartment was perfectly laid out so our teens had privacy in their own room (and heavy duty windows and shutters to keep the sun and the sounds of people enjoying their holidays out.) Yes, there is street noise which others have mentioned but it it didn’t bother us at all and it was worth it to be smack in the middle of the fun and action and be able to smell the delicious pastries being made in the bakery below. We started every morning with cappuccinos and pastries just down from the apartment (paticerie Laura I think it was) and has pizza a couple of times from the pizzeria just steps up from the apartment. Both highly recommended and reasonably priced. The apartment was clean, functional (we cooked a couple of meals and had everything we needed to do so), had a portable air conditioning unit which was much appreciated and in a great location. We absolutely loved our stay here ! Monterosso is a perfect location to explore the Cinque Terre and hike and enjoy the beach. Thank you Francesca for a memorable few days!

Des vacances de rêve, merci à francesca pour la qualité de son hébergement et pour son accueil. La maison est très bien équipée et très bien placée. Attention toutefois pour ceux qui ont des enfants en très bas âge car la maison est située dans une rue très passante (il y aura du bruit jusqu'à minuit environ.) Personnellement cela ne nous absolument pas dérangé. Point noir le parking, on a du se garer sur une place gratuite à 1,5 km sur une route très en pente (le parking Loretto était complet quand nous sommes arrivés). Attention également aux prix de l'alimentation ne ratez pas le marché le jeudi, car à 6 les 2 petites supérettes ont des prix très prohibitifs (mais bon c'est les vacances) Des paysages somptueux, une eau à 29, les gens très sympas et avenant, bref je recommande à 1000% Merci encore Francesca !

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Lage war toll, mitten im Zentrum, in der Nähe vom Meer und Strand. Viele Lokale im Umfeld, dadurch ist es aber laut in der Nacht. Ohropax nicht vergessen! Das Apartement ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, es ist alles da was gebraucht wird. Francesca ist ein toller Host! Danke!

Très bon accueil Francesca est très aimable

Appartement bien placé pour randonner ou sortir le soir. Proche magasin et resto... Seul bémol le parking pour la voiture....si on veut gratuit environ un km .....parking payant à 150m moyennant 25 euros par jour...

In love with Monterosso

We were enchanted with Monterosso from the minute we stepped off the train! What a beautiful town! We arrived a bit early and Francesca kindly allowed us to check in early. We fell in love with the apartment right away. It is located in a great spot, with windows on one side looking down on restaurants and shops that were more popular with the day crowd, and windows on the other side looking down on restaurants popular with the evening dinners, so it was never quiet, but that never really bothered us! It was part of the ambiance. Bonus: a pastry bakery is right below. In the morning, all sorts of lovely scents waft up to entice us downstairs! The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained, and is very well appointed with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room. I really felt at home here. I was sad to leave because we loved our stay so much! Francesca could not have been a better host! Friendly, welcoming, and helpful all describe her. We frequented many shops and restaurants during our stay. Seafood is abundant and delicious! We found the citizens of Monterosso to be friendly and helpful if we were friendly and open, so we have nothing but love for Monterosso! Gelato every evening seated on a bench overlooking the sea.. fabulous food, a beautiful town. We WILL be back. This was a small slice of heaven for us!

Francesca was a great host. Very helpful and fun. Location was ideal for exploring old town. Everything we needed was provided. Kind of noisy early and late but great people watching from both sides of the apartment. Good restaurants nearby and fun shops.

Wmderful Stay in Monterosso

Centrally located, great places to eat just outside the door. Easy walk to beach,trains. Was little noisy at night with windows open but people tend to eat later in the evening. Great Wifi which we carried around town with us. 4 people Oct '18

Cute little town, nice apartment, great value for money.

The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, easy check-in and check-out with the host present. Francesca remained connected before and during our stay and gave us useful recommendations on the area. The only drawback was street noise, but it did not spoil our vacation. Thank you Francesca!
