Cozy apartment in the middle of Porticello

We had a really nice stay in Danieles apartment. It is in the middle of Porticello and you csn reach everything you need. The communication with Daniele was really easy and overall we were really happy with the apsrtment.

Not very good trip

Firstly the photograph advertising the flat is of a different property in a different village further down the coast. Santa Falvia and most of Northern Sicily is filthy with litter and dog muck everywhere The flat was not very clean and towels, bedding of poor quality Stairs up to flat very steep and difficult to negotiate. Not for elderly or people with any health issues Parking was a problem and twice we were asked for money to ensure the hire car was not damaged. The roads are tiny and a one way system is difficult to negotiate Driving in Northern Sicily was a nightmare not to be undertaken by anyone of a nervous disposition Went to Southern Sicily several years ago and loved it. The North is nowhere near as good. The owner Daniele met us and was very pleasant and helpful and we have already passed on our concerns to him directly.

Eine richtig tolle Ferienwohnung. Großartige Lage, in authentischem Fischerdorf mit hervorragender Zuganbindung nach Palermo und Cefalù. Die Wohnung ist super sauber, es ist alles da was man braucht. Richtig toll sind der Balkon !und! die Dachterasse mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Danielle ist ein toller Gastgeber, super nett und immer erreichbar. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

L'appartement est situé à proximité du port et à 10 km de Palerme.Palerme est facilement accessible par le train, la nationale et l'autoroute.L'appartement est très agréable avec un balcon vue mer au soleil levant.Une terrasse est disponible avec parasol et fauteuils.Séjour agréable.Recommandons cette location.

Mitten im Leben

In einem alten Haus mit einer steilen, engen Treppe mitten in Porticello, liegt diese schöne Wohnung. Von der Dachterasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick über das Dorf und auf den Hafen. Die Wohnung war super sauber und Daniele ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Parken ist leicht möglich in der Altstadt, auch wenn es oft sehr eng ist. Die Lage der Wohnung ist als Ausgangspunkt zu Tagesreisen in die Umgebung, vor allem nach Palermo, gut geeignet.

Très satisfait

mon compagnon , mon fils de 8 ans et moi même, avons passés 10 jours dans ce logement, il y a que du positif, logement propre, pratique , fonctionnel, et que dire de la vue magnifique sur la terrasse. Merci à Daniele qui a été d'une gentillesse très agréable, qui nous a accueilli les bras ouvert, avec en bonus un français presque parfait ! Merci mille fois Daniele ! A bientôt.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Es war ein toller Urlaub in einer völlig ausreichenden Wohnung in einem typischen Altstadthaus. Der Balkon und besonders die Dachterasse mit ihrem einmaligen Ausblick sind überragend. Die Wohnung liegt mitten in der Altstadt, 2 Minuten zum Hafen mit seinem schönen Platz. Daniele war ein klasse Gastgeber, auch unsere flugbedingte Verspätung bei derAnkunft war kein Problem. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Strände sind in einigen Minuten fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Perfect apartment in a lovely village with super nice hostes

It was like we got a little bit of Italies great history. Our host told us that it was a house were fishermen had lived. The terrass on the roof was wonderful. We spend ours there.

sono dispiaciuto......considerate comunque che la fatica per i tre piani a piedi è sicuramente ripagata dalla bellissima vista dalla terrazza. Del resto sull'annuncio è specificata l'assenza di ascensore. Nel caratteristico paese di pescatori di Porticello praticamente non esistono ascensori!

Apartment is nice

Property was not properly described, it is located on the 3rd floor up very steep steps and this was not in the description. We did not stay as it would be extremely hard for my wife to climb all of those steps.

Sehr schöne FeWo zum Verweilen und als Ausgang für viele interessante AusflügeAus

Eine sehr gemütliche FeWo in wirklich ruhiger Umgebung. Weit und breit kaum Touristen, dafür aber italienisches Leben. Die FeWo hat alles, was man braucht. Bett ist sehr groß und die Matratzen angenehm. Besonders gefallen hat uns: der nette Balkon, von dem aus man sogar etwas den Hafen sehen kann. Gut für das Glas Wein, um den Tag abzuschließen. Auch toll ist die kleine Dachterrasse, von der man dann den vollständigen Rund-um-Blick hat. Am besten ist sie zum Frühstück oder auch am späten Abend, wenn es nicht mehr heiss ist. Tags spendet ein großer Schirm ggf. Schatten. Angenehm sind auch die beiden Air-Conditions, die wirkungsvoll sind und dabei sehr leise arbeiten. Wir brauchten sie sogar im Oktober ein paar Mal. Nicht zu vergessen, da wir geplagte Städter sind: Es gibt ausreichend freie Parkplätze in allen nächsten Straßen. (Hinweis: Bloß kein großes Auto mieten. Wir hatten einen Fiat Panda - das reichte völlig. Alles größere stresst unnötig.) Daniele ist sehr freundlich, gibt gute Tipps, ist absolut zuverlässig und ist gut über Smartphone und Whattapps ereichbar. Er spricht gut Englisch. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich - wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt. Noch etwas zu dem Treppenaufstieg, da andere Besucher kritisches dazu geschrieben haben: Wir haben in anderen FeWos im Mittelmeerraum wesentlich steilere Treppen angetroffen. Ich bin 65 J., meine Frau ist 60 J. alt , wir sind beide einigermaßen gesund und keine Sportler. Die Treppe war für uns überhaupt kein Problem. Wenn man Befürchtungen wegen der Treppe hat, am besten vorher dazu Daniele einfach ansprechen. Zusammenfassend: Die Fewo ist sehr schön als Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen in der Umgebung und für Ausflüge, z.B. nach Cefalu oder Palermo. Wenn man nur relaxen will, laden Balkon und Dachterrasse dazu ein. Am Hafen kann man übrigens gut Essen - auch dazu hat Daniele wertvolle Tipps. Wir haben uns die fast 10 Tage sehr wohl gefühlt. Très bel appartement avec vue sur la mer

Calme, beau, d'une propreté irréprochable.Seul bémol, des escaliers difficiles à gravir. La terrasse sur les toits est propice au rêve et au repos !!! Les cloches de l'église voisine font office de berceuse mais ne donnent pas toute la nuit! Je recommande !

Agréable séjour dans un appartement bien situé au centre d’un village typique de pêcheurs.

Nous remercions Daniele pour son accueil très sympathique qui parle très bien français. La situation du logement nous a permis de visiter une bonne partie de la Sicile. L’appartement avec sa terrasse sur les toits nous a plongé au cœur de la vie sicilienne. De plus, tous les commerces sont à proximité ! A recommander.
