Vale do Zavial - Space and confort near Zavial beach

Ideally located in the Natural Park of Southwest Algarve, Holiday - Vale do Zavial is a detached villa, located in the Hortas do Tabual village very close to the wonderful beach of Zavial.

Located on the edge of the village, along the valley, the detached villa has a quiet and green environment.

The house has two floors. The upper floor has one living room and a fully equipped kitchen in a spacious area of 55 m2 with three bedrooms 1 bathroom and 1 WC.

In the lower floor there is another living room with a terrace in front and two more bedrooms and a bathroom.

There is also a sofa bed in the living room if you have any visitors during your stay.

Each floor also has its own terrace covered with pergolas and outdoor furniture.

We also have a garden where you can enjoy the view with a large BBQ, and a yard where we grow aromatic herbs and vegetables that you can collect and contribute during your stay.

un excellent séjour dans cette grande maison aux grands espaces et aux nombreuses chambres très bien située. De nombreuses plages sont accessibles à pieds (30 min) ou en voiture (5 min pour côte sud, 15 min pour côte ouest) et on est loin de la grande foule de Lagos ou Faro.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la situation géographique de la maison non loin de la côte vicentine magnifique mais assez proche également de Lagos et les 7 vallees suspendues. Être motorisé est obligatoire. La maison est très lumineuse et agréable.

Maison confortable et cadre enchanteur

La maison très spacieuse a permis à 14 personnes de vivre une semaine sans se marcher dessus. Tout est fonctionnel avec des équipements de qualité. Le site est idéal pour les amoureux de la plage: nous nous sommes rendus à plusieurs reprises à pied jusqu’à Praia do Zavial (30 minutes de marche) et Praia da Ingrina (35 minutes) pour le plaisir de profiter des paysages de cette belle petite vallée. Je recommande cette destination.

Stilvolle Unterkunft in einem idyllischen Örtchen

Zuerst die Zusammenfassung: alle vergebenen 5 Sterne-Bewertungen haben ihre Berechtigung! Ein modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, großzügiges, tadellos sauberes Haus, das spielend zwei Familien mit Kindern aufnehmen kann, für jeden einen Rückzugsort parat hält und alles bietet, was man an einem Regentag (hatten wir tatsächlich) braucht. In einem intakten Dörfchen gelegen, der ideale Ort für alle, die auf Strandtrubel, Hotel- und Feriendorfatmosphäre gut verzichten können. Wir können uns allen Lobeshymnen anschließen, deshalb konzentriere mich auf die Dinge, die uns besonders gefallen haben. Z.B. die herausragend ausgestattete Küche (sogar mit Details wie einem Pürierstab) im obersten Stockwerk, in der mehrere Personen gleichzeitig vorbereiten und kochen können. Und selbst wenn man bereits im Dunkeln nach Hause kommt, kann man noch immer grillen, denn der Grill ist von innen beleuchtet... Es fällt schwer zu entscheiden, auf welcher der drei Terrassen man dann essen soll, oder ob man einfach am großen Tisch in der Wohnküche der oberen Etage bleibt, um die Aussicht ins Tal zu genießen. Knapp drei Kilometer Fußweg - in der kürzesten Variante entlang der zumindest morgens an Wochentagen kaum befahrenen Straße - trennen die FeWo von der malerischen Bucht im Süden. Wir haben das jeden Morgen für einen kleinen Spaziergang mit anschließendem Bad genutzt. Alternativ führt westlich der Straße ein schöner Weg durch die Garrigue-Landschaft, der nur unwesentlich länger ist. Carlos gehört zu den unkompliziertesten Vermietern, die wir in den letzten 20 Jahren erlebt haben. Voller Vertrauen, schnell erreichbar und mit hilfreichen Antworten auf unsere Fragen, sehr entgegenkommend. Ach ja, Ornithologen werden ihren Spaß haben. Selbst Ende Oktober bekamen wir viele mediterrane Gartenvögel ( mehr wird nicht verraten) von der Terrasse aus zu sehen oder bei offenem Fenster zu hören. Und ab und zu den Blick zum Himmel richten, brachte zumindest für mich echte Überraschungen.

Besser geht's nicht!

Kurz gesagt: das beste Feriendomizil, das wir je hatten! Das Haus ist hell und freundlich eingerichtet und großzügig geschnitten. Man kann tatsächlich leicht 12 Personen unterbringen, ohne Notlager oder Klappsofas nutzen zu müssen. Zwei Schlafplätze sind zwar im unteren Wohn-/Schlafzimmer, doch dieses wird vermutlich von allen Mietern nur als Schlafraum genutzt, wie die Verteilung der Küchenutensilien vermuten lässt. Die Schlafzimmer bieten (was keine Selbstverständlichkeit ist) mehr als genug Platz in Schränken und Kommoden, um selbst die leeren Koffer noch gut unterbringen zu können, die Ausstattung der Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, Geschirr und Besteck sind reichlich vorhanden. Ein unschätzbarer Vorteil: es gibt 4 Toiletten, davon zwei in den klar und modern gestalteten Badezimmern Zwei vernünftige Handtücher pro Person sind vorhanden, ebenfalls eine Waschmaschine, so dass man eigentlich mit Handgepäck anreisen kann. Zu jedem Stockwerk gehört eine kleine Terrasse (die wir allerdings bei unserem Aufenthalt im Hochsommer kaum genutzt haben, weil der abendliche kühle Wind uns in's Haus getrieben hat). Der Ausblick von der oberen Terrasse geht über das einsame Tal bis zum Meer. Auf dem kleinen Außengelände unten am Haus befindet sich ein gut funktionierender gemauerter Grillkamin. Wegen der abendlichen Temperaturen haben wir den Essplatz draußen nicht oft genutzt, jedoch ist der "Garten" der einzige Punkt, der eine kleine Abwertung verdient: er wirkt etwas improvisiert und - Achtung! - die Sitzbänke sondern Harz ab. Nicht zu unterschätzen (vor allem bei einem Aufenthalt mit Jugendlichen) ist das gut funktionierende und stabile WLAN. Die Lage des Hauses ist kaum zu überbieten, wenn man nicht gerade Trubel und Nachtleben sucht. Hortas do Tabual ist ein winziges Dorf mit so engen Gassen, dass eine Anfahrt bis zum Haus gar nicht möglich ist. Es herrscht dort absolute Ruhe, und außer den Vögeln im Tal hört man nur das melodische Pfeifen des Papageis im Nachbarhaus (und an einem einzigen Abend eine Feier im Hostel um die Ecke). Im Umkreis von eine halben Autostunde liegen zahlreiche schöne und sehr unterschiedliche Strände. Drei davon kann man auf einer kurzen Wanderung oder einer Joggingrunde zu Fuß erreichen. Direkt vom Dorf aus lassen sich einige Wanderungen unternehmen (unter anderem eine einsame und wunderschöne nach Sagres), auch (teilweise markierte) Mountainbike-Strecken gibt es in der Umgebung.

Großes Haus mit allem drin in wunderschöner Umgebung

Ich habe gezögert eine Bewertung zu schreiben, denn wir fahren regelmäßig hin, die Gegend ist eine Art Geheimtipp und je mehr Leute kommen desto schwieriger wird es vielleicht, dieses Haus zu buchen. Doch weil der Vermieter äußerst nett ist und sein Angebot sehr gut muss es wohl sein. Es ist ein großes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit ca. 6 Schlafzimmern und weiteren Extrabetten auf 2 Etagen. Man kann auch nur zwei oder drei Zimmer davon nutzen und der Preis reduziert sich. Ich fand die Küche vorbildlich ausgestattet und gar nicht spartanisch, wie man das oft erlebt. Die Betten sind sehr gut, es gibt eine schöne Aussicht von den zwei Terrassen. Es gibt keinen Pool, der Garten ist klein aber vollkommen ausreichend zum Zusammensitzen und auch zum Grillen. Dafür grenzt der Garten mit einer Seite direkt an die Natur. Das Dorf ist malerisch und sehr klein und natürlich ist Carlos nicht der Einzige der sein Haus vermietet, d.h. die 3 Nachbarn die man trifft sind meist auch Touristen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön zum Wandern oder Spazieren und der Strand Zavial nur 2km weit weg. Großen Dank an Carlos, der uns auch den einen oder anderen Extrawunsch erfüllt hat!

Die Küste Portugals entspannt genießen

Die Tage in Hortas do Tabual waren so angenehm durch ein gut eingerichtetes sauberes Haus in einer tollen Lage über dem Vale Zavial. Im Ort keinerlei Infrastruktur, jedoch alle Strände und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Kein direktes Parken am Haus. Dafür Ruhe und Schönheit. Wir waren glücklich. Wunderbare Atmosphäre bei allem Komfort

Mit 4 Erwachsenen und 6 Jugendlichen haben wir 2 Wochen wunderbare Ferien in der Villa-Vale do Zavial genossen. Das Haus ist großzügig, modern und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet und liegt sehr schön am Rande eines kleinen, ursprünglichen Dorfes mit unverbautem Talblick bis zum Meer. Der Vermieter ist sehr feundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Wer einen entspannten, protugiesischen Urlaub, umgeben von Traumstränden ohne großen Tourismusrummel möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir kommen wieder!

A Casa é Fantástica Eramos um grupo de 15 pessoas e toda a gente ficou bem acomodada, a localização era a indicada na descrição e a vila embora pequena era muito simpática, A proximidade de Sagres, Vila do Bispo, Lagos e Carrapateira torna a localização ideal para quem não gosta de ir sempre á mesma praia, o dono da casa cumpriu com tudo aquilo a que se propôs por isso não temos nada a apontar, nada falhou .... Magnifique et très confortable !

Idéal pour un séjour avec plusieurs familles. La maison est magnifique et très confortable. Les plages alentour sont très bien. Si je devais citer la chose la moins bien, je dirais l'espace extérieur qui était trop petit mais ce n'était pas très dérangeant, il suffit de faire des sorties.

Incredible house, beautiful location...

Vale do Zavial is huge, stylish and incredibly well equipped, sitting in a tiny village on a hill looking down the valley towards the blue Atlantic, and a two minute drive from the empty golden sands and steady surf of Zavial beach, where you'll also find an excellent beach restaurant selling good seafood and cold beer. The village is in a national park close to the Sagres peninsuala, which marks the most south westerly point in continental Europe, and we found there were too many beaches - all of them more or less deserted except for the odd surfer or a few families - to explore in our two weeks at the house. We would return tomorrow given half a chance.

2nd time and we'll come back again

The house itself has a modern interieur, is well maintained and moreover fully equipped (hairdryer, dishwasher, good internet, wood oven, etc.). The nights are quiet and the morinng starts with a beautiful view from the terrace of the valley, just great. If questions occur, you can always contact the host, which is responding imediately, or pass by at the housekeeper just a few minutes walk away. The "home" beach (Zavial) is just a few minutes away. Willkommen im Vogelgarten...

Willkommen im Vogelgarten. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort um zu Entspannen und in Ruhe zu genießen. In der Nacht herrscht vollkommene Stille und morgens erinnern die zahlreichen Vögel daran, dass der Tag erwacht. Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen, am Rande der Gemeinde mit Blick in ein unbebautes Tal und durch die Talschneise schimmert das 2km entfernte Meer. Das Haus ist sehr modern eingerichtet und bietet allen erdenklichen Komfort inkl. stabiler Internetanbindung. Von der Nachbarschaft rückseitig ist kaum etwas zu vernehmen. Eine der besten Unterkünfte, die ich in der Region bisher hatte. Ich komme wieder.
