The warm waters of Craigville Beach on the Nantucket Sound are second to none on Cape Cod. After a day at the beach, enjoy the best homemade ice cream in the world at Four Seas in Centerville -- just a short walk up the street. Fishing and Blue Crabbing is also plentiful in the Centerville River. Bring your kayak and launch from the public Way to Water on the Centerville River just two doors down form this property, or fish from the crabbing bridge, again, just a few steps away.
Enjoy historic Centerville for a real, old-fashioned Cape Cod vacation while having all of the restaurants and shops of downtown Hyannis just a short few minutes drive away.
Hyannis Harbor is less than 3 and half miles away. Here you can catch a ferry boat to Marthaโs Vineyard or Nantucket Island for a day of exploring or bike riding. Cycling enthusiasts wonโt want to miss a day cycling the peaceful and quaint Nantucket Island. Just grab your lunch in a day pack and cycle through the lovely streets of Hyannis Port to Hyannis Harbor to board you and your bike on the Nantucket Ferry. And donโt forget that Cape Cod offers the quintessential mini-golf experience. Weโve played all over The Cape, and our favorites are Pirates Cove and Skull Island, both located a short distance away on Rt. 28. But please donโt feel like you need to remember any of this.
