Villa Montemaggiore is an ancient summer residence of the Archbishops of Urbino and dominates the “Metauro dalla Gola del Furlo” valley in Fano, an ancient Roman city on the Adriatic Sea. After long and careful restoration work, the villa, measuring 350 sq.m., and its park is a blend of refined architecture and comfortable amenities without, however, forgetting the past. In fact, the building still retains its strong historical heritage which each visitor manages to feel in the atmosphere full of past-time testimonies. Surrounded by greenery and large open spaces it has an exclusive pool (5x11, 0.5 – 3m deep )(15/05-15/09), equipped with garden furniture and table for outdoor snacks, as well as bicycles, children’s games and a small sports field for various sports. The large indoor spaces and the comfort of the fittings make it ideal for groups of friends in search of a totally relaxing holiday alternating with seaside trips or excursions to towns in the Marche region. A daily cleaning service is available upon request and to be paid for on location. Internet wi-fi is included in the price. Central heating.

ACCOMMODATION: Gr.Fl.: Large living room with fireplace, dining room, sitting room (satellite TV, wi-fi), large kitchen (freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and electrical appliances) leading onto a terrace (barbeque) and therefore to the pool area, WC. 1st fl.: large hall with fireplace and vaulted ceiling furnished with period furniture, leading to 4 suites and to a small kitchen. Suite 1: (30sq.m) with double bed and bathroom with Jacuzzi; Suite 2: (40sq.m)with a double bed (beds can be separated) with a bathroom with bath and a wooden staircase leading to a sleeping loft with a double sofa bed, Suite 3: (40sq.m.) with sitting room with a double sofa bed, I bathroom with bath and a wooden staircase leading to a sleeping loft with a double bed, Suite 4: (40sq.m.) with sitting room with a double sofa bed, 1 bathroom with bath and a wooden staircase leading to a sleeping loft with a double bed. All the suites have air conditioning, satellite TV and a small fridge.
Important information: The villa, due to its characteristics, is not suitable for groups of young people.LOCATION: 5 km from shops for basic necessities, 20 km Fano (all kinds of shops, sandy beaches), 32 km Urbino (one of the most important art cities in the Marche region and seat of an ancient university), 65 km Rimini (airport), 80 km San Marino, 85 km Riviera del Conero.
