A SPACIOUS 3 BEDROOM TIMBER LODGE THAT SLEEPS UP TO 7 PEOPLE AND HAS LOVELY RURAL VIEWS. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED WELL BACK OFF THE B4510 OFFENHAM ROAD NEAR EVESHAM. THE CABIN IS DOUBLE GLAZED, HAS GAS CENTRAL HEATING & AMPLE PARKING (including space for boat if required.) THE CABIN HAS 3 DOUBLE BEDROOMS (ONE DOUBLE, ONE ZIP'N'LINK, WHICH CAN BE A KING SIZE OR 2 SINGLES) AND THE THIRD BEDROOM HAS BUNK BEDS & A PINE SINGLE BED. BED LINEN AND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED.TRAVEL COT & HIGH CHAIR AVAILABLE. FREE Wi-Fi. AVONVALE HOLIDAY LODGES ARE HALFWAY BETWEEN OFFENHAM AND EVESHAM (both are near enough to walk to). EVESHAM IS A MARKET TOWN (market on Saturdays). IT IS SITUATED ON THE RIVER AVON, HAS A LEISURE CENTRE (including a swimming pool and climbing wall). A LARGE RIVERSIDE PARK (Abbey Park) WITH A CHILDRENS PLAY AREA, SKATE BOARD PARK AND A WATER PARK (open during the summer - free to use). BOAT TRIPS AND BOAT HIRE ARE AVAILABLE ON THE RIVER.

3 nights stay at Lavender lodge

Nice spacious place with all the facilities. Only thing to keep in mind that mobile network is bad and Wi-Fi is very slow. Overall, nice place to have a holiday with pets.

Nice property

Absolutely what we needed to visit family in the area. No real negatives apart from property looking a bit tired but I guess it is toward the end of the season so to be expected. Everything we needed was supplied including tea, coffee, milk and a nice touch of cakes and biscuits on arrival. One suggestion is, as this is a dog friendly site then could do with dog pooh bins around site.

Lovely stay

Enjoyed our break. Property was big enough for us with plenty of amenities. We explored the area which is beautiful. Lovely views across the fields. Cooker especially knobs needs a good clean and we found bits of glass under chairs in living room, but all in all felt clean, with disinfectant spray supplied. Even sanitiser on windowsill in kitchen was supplied. Would stay again.

Fantastic Lodge

We had a lovely weekend at Lavender Lodge, the lodge was clean and had everything you could need down to hairdryers, straighteners, cooking oils and seasonings! The beds were super comfy, there were even board games and a bbq. 100% would recommend for families or groups of friends. It’s a great location for a quiet secluded weekend or to go and explore, we drove to Broadway and took a walk up to Broadway tower and there’s plenty of supermarkets just down the road. We had a fantastic weekend!

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay in the Lavender Lodge. The location was a great base for us. The lodge was lovely and spacious. We particularly enjoyed the barbecue and sitting out on an evening and taking in the views. Our daughter loved the play area which she visited everyday. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A racing adventure

We arrived at 11am enroute to Cheltenham race’s checkin was 2-30 and we needed to change clothes for the races after our 5 hr drive we had contacted the owner earlier and he provided us with another lodge where we could change we then left our bags and clothing in the lodge we were staying in as they were busy cleaning it from the previous guests all in all we had a really enjoyable stay for the next couple of days

We had a very relaxing 2 night stay. The location was very quiet and close to the centre of Evesham. John was very friendly and welcoming and on site should a problem arise. The cabin was well equipped and the tea, coffee, milk etc was a lovely touch.

What we needed for our weekend away,

As 5 adults meeting from all over the country, this lodge was a really good economical option for us, it had the essentials and we were warm, dry and comfortable, but unfortunately everything needed a better clean than it had had, one of our group after arriving first felt the need to give everything a good clean. We enjoyed our stay, but would have been disappointed if it had been more expensive because of the cleanliness.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and found the lodge to be a really good economical option for party and that you were warm, dry and comfortable. The first of your party arrived by train from London and I showed her around the lodge and pointed out that we live in the next lodge and were available 24/7 if you had any problems. No problems were ever reported during your stay. If any of your party felt the lodge needed "a better clean" why did you not mention this. It is a shame that you, as the writer of the review didn't get to see how the lodge was prepared first, ready for your parties arrival. Your booking was originally made for 5 people but then you contacted us and informed us that there was going to be 6 people in your party. Most of the time, there was five cars parked outside the lodge and at times more. We provide ample free parking for guests next to the lodge. There is also additional parking for visitors etc on our car park. Sadly your visitors choose to park on our roadway causing obstructions and inconvenience to the guests staying in our other lodges. We hope you have better luck finding more suitable accommodation for your party in the future.

Just what we wanted

We stayed in Lavender Lodge for a school reunion and it was perfect for our needs. It comes fully equipped with a barbecue, 3 good sized bedrooms and a lovely spacious kitchen/lounge/diner. The lodge was lovely and warm and there was plenty of hot water. My only minor gripe was the WiFi but the owner did explain that the signal was poor because of the excellent insulation - think I would rather be warm than connected! Evesham is very nearby and we went walking in Oversley Wood which is enchanting.

Lovely accommodation, plenty of space for seven people. We arrived to tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits and cakes left by the John the landlord, which was a nice treat especially after our journey. It was a very cold weekend and the heating was on the whole time.

Value for money and great location for nearby attractions

The log cabin did the job, a bit cosy for seven people but do-able. The site itself needs some landscaping but if you're planning on being off-site most of the time this will prove an academic factor, Evesham, 5 mins away, has great play areas for kids anyway. The view is out across a farmer's field and the main road is very nearby to the rear just over the trees, not an issue unless you are a very light sleeper. I'd recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a good price and strategic location, staying in a comfortable but not overly posh log cabin. We enjoyed our tea outside on the decking a few nights, with a great uninterrupted view of the summer sky.
