Dear Mrs, Thank you for the appreciation of the property. We really appreciate this. On the other hand, it is a pity to hear that you are disappointed about a few things. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in our description we do not speak of a 'single' villa but of a house, despite the fact that the house otherwise has all the characteristics of a villa. During the rental season, the beds are only made with bottom sheets and sheets because the duvets are generally much too warm. The duvets are stored under the bed and are therefore always available for those who prefer a warmer blanket. The house is indeed located on a street that is not heavily trafficked and is not a shortcut. This is of course a subjective fact. We as owners and therefore frequently present in the house do not experience the little daily traffic as disturbing or noisy. Moreover, we have never been inconvenienced by invasion of privacy, view into the garden, the house or the surroundings of the swimming pool and have not received any complaints about this. The swimming pool is completely enclosed by a hedge or a fence and is about two meters higher than the street. It is true that the fig tree was pruned just a little too early and too drastically this year, creating a relatively small opening in the hedge, but also at a height where viewing is not an issue. We regret that these facts have had an impact on your experience.

Dear tenant, thank you for your response. We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with your choice and that we cannot read any positive notes in your review. This is in contrast to all previous tenants over the past 11 years who do not share the same opinion. Although the house has all the comfort of a villa, you do not agree with this description. What is the standard of a villa for you? We are convinced that the price/quality ratio is rather on the low side compared to other homes on the island. Maybe just do the exercise. The site clearly indicates how far the house is from the beach and sights. In terms of location, this house is suitable for a quiet holiday in a quiet environment. We also do not categorize a street where no more than 20 cars pass per day as a busy street. It is clear that your standard requirements are rather on the high side and it is not easy to meet them, and certainly not at the prices we charge. The fig tree is the pride of our garden. In August the figs almost fall into your mouth. We are quite surprised to learn that anybody can have a problem with a beautiful fig tree. But yes you are right that the loungers need to be replaced every 2 or 3 years due to the daily use of our many tenants. We attach great importance to the satisfaction of our tenants and we do everything we can to meet their wishes as much as possible. Unfortunately, this does not always work. However, we are particularly proud of the many others who appreciate our efforts.
