Duck's Delight is our home in America's Happiest Seaside Town (2014 Coastal Living)!

4 bedroom (3 queen sized beds and 2 sets of bunkbeds), 2 bath Cape Cod in Chincoteague, VA., home of the Assateague ponies. Small fishing town on the eastern shore of Virginia. Central air, newly updated and fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, seafood equipment, some spices, blender), screened in porch and outside enclosed hot running shower, sleeps 10. Great for 2 families, includes high chair and portacrib. The house is within walking distance of the town. Check out Chincoteague, a real all American town with activities and a pristine protected beach. Flat for great bike riding. And great all year 'round. Beach umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers, barbeque grill, washing machine, dryer and clothesline. Need to bring towels and bed linens. Beach toys provided.

Duck’s Delight is a wonderful place to stay. The property is well maintained and very comfortable. We were impressed with the cleanliness and condition especially considering that it is pet friendly. The house is situated a few blocks back from the busy street of Maddox but well within walking distance. Definitely our new favorite home away from home!

Our girls weekend in Chincoteague, VA was fun! Duck Delight made our stay especially relaxing. The home was clean, well stocked and welcoming. Communications with the owner were promptly handled. Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Lovely Vacation Home

Our family of four plus dog stayed here for a long weekend, quick getaway. The house is very nice and was perfect for us. Everything in Chincoteague is close. Property owner always had prompt communication and response with us. We would recommend it!

We stayed with the grandparents and the kids and there was more than enough room. It’s an It’s a great location with kids and dogs because it’s tucked in a neighborhood right behind a park. Everyone including the dog loved it. We will be clicking repeat next year. Just wish I could have finished this puzzle. Have to stay longer next time.

Delightful Ducks Delight!

We have stayed multiple times at chincoteague, but my family and I quite enjoyed Ducks Delight. It was roomy, clean and a cute house to vacation at! Lots of beach supplies in the shed that helped lend to the experience and limit needs to carry extra items on vacation. When we visit chincoteague again we will be back!

Wonderful as Always

This is our 4th or 5th stay at Ducks. We live the spaciousness of it for our family. Its nice to have the porch to relax on after a day of shopping and doing tourist things. I think we ate every meal out there. We were pretty much unplugged for the stay. Spent the evening playing games and laughing. We always make wonderful memories to last a life time.

Cozy home away from home

My family and I love the property. It was perfect cozyand charming. We all took advantage of the sun room or Florida room. That is where we started our day with coffee and breakfast and ended our day with cocktails. It was pleanty of yard space for a four legged family member to play. Perfect location quiet section of town close to the beach, Island creamery and the beach. The host Joe was great at responding to messages. We will lookfor this property again when we come back next year.

Very Nice

Duck's Delight was a great place to stay. It's a lovely house and a great location, very quiet but walking distance to town. There is a small hole in the porch screen that was leaking mosquitoes when we sat out there the last night, but, otherwise everything worked great. We also liked the key less lock since we had 3 families staying there and rental companies typically supply 2 keys. We would definitely like to stay there again next year.
