Private Beach Home With Elevator In Gated Ocean Front Community

Our home is located five house (650 feet) from the wide, unspoiled and uncrowded private beach in the gated community Bethany Dunes. This newly constructed (2014) spacious home with hardwood floors throughout and an elevator, is designer decorated and furnished. It has two master suites with large walk-in closets, Roman tubs and separate walk-in showers. Additionally, it has three large bedrooms, a study, a total of four and a half bathrooms and two laundry rooms. The reverse open floor plan offers ocean views from the top floor furnished deck and the large great room with gas fireplace and mounted HD TV. Also, on the top floor is the well-stocked kitchen with top of the line appliances, two dishwashers, large kitchen and dining tables, and a huge granite counter center island with stools. This top floor space, which opens to one of the decks, offers the ideal place to relax with family and friends. The home offers everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable: a great private beach, a quiet community where youngsters can bicycle, skateboard, and play in safety, play tennis, and all the beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach toys, buggies, and games you will need. The large outside enclosed shower is great for rinsing off the sand and the grill is perfect for your steaks and seafood if you choose to eat in. The elevator is ideal for moving stuff in and out of the house, as well as getting up and down the floors, especially when you are too tired from the day's activities at the beach or a walk to and around town.

Gorgeous house!

My extended family has been renting houses in north Bethany for the last 20 years, and this is probably the most well-maintained and well-equipped house we've ever stayed in. Everything was in excellent condition, we loved all the beach supplies included, and our group ranging in ages from 4 to 84 all were very comfortable. We'll definitely return!

Great Place!

We really enjoyed our time at the property. Two washing machines, beach chairs, and beach games were definitely a plus! The only issue is that we didn't get a call on check in day saying our house was ready. We just drove over right before 4:00 to see if we could get in.

Great house!

The house was beautiful and comfortable! Our family really enjoyed staying and would definitely book again. The only change I would request is putting on the booking that bath towels and sheets are not included in the rental. We had brought our own sheets but had to go to Walmart to buy bath towels for the week.

Comfortable for large groups

During our week stay there were several rain days to go along with some wonderful beach days. Because of the large open floor at the top of the house we were able to spread out when needed and come together at the large tables for puzzles and games. On nicer days we made use of the bikes, beach toys and other items to be comfortable at the beach.

Wonderful week at a Beautiful house!

We had an absolutely great stay at Delmarvalous with our group! From the communications beforehand, to helping us resolve a lockout issue on our first day (our fault…oops!), we really had a wonderful week. The house was kept in great shape and all of the furniture and bedding was in practically new condition and beds were extremely comfortable. The daily “commute” of, maybe, a 3 minute walk with our beach equipment was easy, and the vast array of available umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and beach wagons was absolutely perfect! The neighbors were extremely nice and friendly as well. It’s been a while since going to Bethany, and even with some windy beach days and very cold water (61 degrees for the first couple…brrrr!), we absolutely enjoyed our entire time there! Thanks for hosting us and hope to return again!

Beautiful, clean house

This is a large and beautiful, new house - even nicer than the photos. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and the house comes equipped with chairs and a sand buggy (no umbrella). There are TVs in every room, and the house is furnished beautifully. The beds were comfortable and the finishes in the home are top of the line. The outdoor shower is a nice feature and the decks are nice, too (could use a bit more furniture and maybe a fan or two!). My only complaint is due to the way the house is laid out. With the living area on the top floor (which is great for views), children sleeping on the floor below hear heavy footprints, etc from the kitchen and living room above. It's too bad there isn't better sound proofing in the home. Otherwise, it was great.

Spectacular home!

This beautiful home was perfect for our family beach week. We especially loved the top floor with open concept living and kitchen areas with the attached covered decking. The den was a great spot for the kids and all their toys and books. The kitchen was well stocked and the two laundry rooms came in handy with young children and lots of beach time. The bedrooms were spacious and quite comfortable. We appreciated having access to beach umbrellas, wagon, chairs, and other beach items. The clean outdoor shower was large enough for adults bathing kids and had plenty of space for towels and bath supplies. The elevator broke shortly after we arrived, so we missed having that convenience during move-in. Our only suggested addition to this very well appointed and gorgeous home is a separate ice machine, maybe on the 1st floor near the refrigerator.

We’ve been vacationing in the Bethany-Fenwick area for almost 20 years and this was the best house we have ever stayed in. It was perfect for our 3 family vacation. What an unbelievable home this is! It was spacious so guests weren't tripping over each other yet afforded us a beautiful gathering space for together time. The "accessories" for beach going were numerous, appreciated and gratefully used. We hope to come back many times for our summer vacations.

Wonderful beautiful family beach vacation home

Clean, beautifully decorated beach home one block from beach . Amenities were excellent and house provided beach chairs and umbrellas and bikes. Outdoor shower was great and elevator was a huge help for my mother- in- law as well as transporting groceries . The porches a wonderful outdoor space (but none were screened ) with a small ocean view . The furnishings were very new and fresh. The office was a good addition if guests need to work remotely. My only suggestion would be It might be to have more of a set up around the barbecue area on ground floor. Overall excellent! Would stay there again!

We have rented a variety of homes over the last few years and this house was by far the best. Not only was it in close proximity to the private beach, it was beautiful and well-stocked. It was a perfect home for our families with young children.

Beautiful huge beach house

We had a great stay at this property. The home was very spacious, beautifully designed, and clean. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, dishes, etc that we needed - even a vitamix! The beach storage room had lots of great beach toys, umbrellas, bikes, boogie boards, a beach cart AND wagon which were necessary when hauling all the things for 4 kids out to the beach. The elevator was so handy for luggage and groceries. This is a great house for multiple families or just a large family like us (2 parents, 4 kids ages 3-11, and 2 grandparents). The beach is a short walk away and you can even see the beautiful ocean from the top floor of the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Big house, great location

The house is huge, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice family space on the top floor, with a nice porch for family time before and after dinner. Short, easy walk to the beach, and the house comes equipped with two beach umbrellas, a beach wagon to cart stuff, frisbees, beach games, and board games. Close to town. Having the grill was great, especially since we cooked every meal but two (had to get Grotto Pizza delivered!) in these days of Coronavirus. Would definitely rent here again.
