True to description and reviews
Hidden House II is true to it’s wonderful description and high reviews. Nature surrounds you. The setting is a quiet haven away from the noise and crowds of Bar Harbor. And yet, the location is convenient to everything and close to Acadia National Park. House is spacious, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you’ll need & more. Heat on a chilly morning was easy to regulate. Research on the family history (father served a long term as one of Harvard’s most significant presidents) enriched our stay. Beautiful neighborhood with some steep, narrow roads. Thank you, Rosemary & David, for an amazing 2 weeks. We absolutely loved it; and like other guests, hope to keep it a bit of a secret so we can return. Julie & Paul, Traverse City, MI

Hidden House 2
Hidden House 2 is located in the woods in Seal Harbor, Maine within walking distance of Seal Harbor beach and town and the entrance to Acadia National Park. My wife and I enjoy Hidden House 2 so much that this is our 4rd stay. The house is well equipped and immaculately clean. The owners are very responsive to any questions. Hidden House 2 is a great base for peace and quiet while visiting Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. Staying here you feel you are staying in the park. It is beautiful and highly recommended.

My husband and I live in Palo Alto, California for most of the year, but I have been spending part of each summer in Seal Harbor since I was a young girl. Now we go there to spend time with our children and grandchildren. It is the perfect spot for relaxed family time in a beautiful national park setting.

Why they chose this property

My father, who served as President of Harvard University for many years, built this house for my mother and himself to enjoy in their retirement years.

What makes this property unique

Very livable home in a quiet, secluded location close to the national park and all its features and activities.
