Amazing chalet-style 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, 2,000 sq ft home with 2 living areas and spacious upper and lower decks for gathering. Situated on beautiful Lake Irene with over 100' of hard, sandy shoreline. Great for swimming & amazing fishing off the dock! Pontoon rental available during summer months.

Irene's Oasis is a ten minute drive from Alexandria, MN and the chain of lakes (Carlos, Miltona, L'Homme Dieu, Darling, Geneva). It is very easy to get in and out of town, and is within walking distance to the local convenience store. It is also only about 10 minutes from Carlos Creek winery, a great place to have some food and enjoy a wine tasting! Other fun wineries are L’Etoile Du Nord as well as 68 and Vine, both minutes away! Carlos State Park is great to visit all 4 seasons and features great hiking trails as well as a sandy beach.

Home features open floor plan with vaulted tongue & groove pine ceilings, a gas fireplace, 6 panel pine doors, log railings, a loft area with bedroom, a master bedroom, two full bathrooms, a family room with sliding glass door to 10'x24' deck, a finished lower level family room with a beautiful pine bar, electric fireplace and finished bedroom. Additional 2nd floor deck.

Furnished with: washer and dryer, bedroom furniture, couches, and futons. Home also features two car extra large garage (28'x26'). Huge yard and great fire pit with wood provided! It is a beautiful smoke-free / pet-friendly home that we think you will love!

We offer a full kitchen for your hosting needs and are happy to answer any questions about what we have stocked. Of course there are options for the coffee lovers (like the owner Leah!) including a coffee pot and single serve Keurig.

Some of the absolute best fishing on this stocked lake is right off our dock. You will often see boats pulling up to try and get in on the action. Some of the best memories are sitting on the dock bench and watching the kiddos reel them in - hope you have the same experience if you visit in the summer!

During the winter, the cabin is a great getaway! We are near great snowmobiling trails. If you like ice fishing, this is an ideal location! Warm up after in front of 1 of the 2 fireplaces or pour a beverage at the bar :)

**We recently added an arcade & game room featuring a juke box, head-to-head Pacman arcade game, Hook and Ring Toss, plus there is a full bar for the adults in your party! Great gathering space for the whole family!** Outdoor games include cornhole boards and Kan Jam. Kayaks and a stand up paddle board available for an additional fee & waiver!

We hope you have a blast, get a chance to enjoy the lake and views from the deck, and can't wait to return! We do ask that you do a cursory cleaning prior to leaving. (The cleaning fee covers a cleaning crew for 4 hours, time required beyond that will be deducted from the damage deposit $75 per hour required. Additional $75 will be deducted if grill is used and not cleaned). Also, we have a strict no-smoking policy. If this policy is violated, we will keep the entire damage deposit to pay for the cleaning required to rid the house of the odor.

Pets are negotiable and a $125 pet fee is required. Please let us know when inquiring that you will be bringing a pet. We ask that you pick up any little "treats" left in the yard and address any excess fur in the house before departing.

The minimum primary renter's age must be 25+. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age should we feel it necessary. This cabin is *NOT* intended to house big/wild/loud parties, we love our neighbors at the lake and want to respect them always. This is a great option for family gatherings & getaways, but not crazy bachelor or bachelorette parties.
